Atlus Playstation Disgaea 4: A Promise Revisited - Vita

I have been an RPG fan for years, and I have to say Disgaea 4 has become one of my favorite videogames in a while. I have played Disgaea 3 as well, and it does have its own charm, but I have still loved 4 much more. The story follows Valvatorez, a tyrant who has lost his powers for his devotion to a promise. I have played to the end of the story, although it was a simple story, it has a great diversity of characters, with some lighthearted comedy, yet some heart tugging tragedy as well. Gameplay wise, it can be compared to final fantasy tactics, which is not far off, and this game does allow you to play in many ways, and the cheat shop features does allow you to change the difficulty from the base 0 to 20, and affect what you earn from battles, (it is not cheating entirely). Those are a few things I will mention about the game, and it really is a game that gives you so much for your value and one that has made me become a fan of the series. I have bought a vita mostly for Persona 4 Golden, but when I have played Disgaea 4: A Promise Revisited I would say I have this game should get known as well. I honestly like this game a bit more and that is coming from a Persona fan, but to me it is that good of a game, and I hope you won't regret it either.

Yet another great game from the disgaea series. The game can easily last over 1000 hours, hilarious script writing and great characters. The game is incredibly flexible in terms of difficulty, the players get to decide how hard the game is, that said, the real game doesn't start until you finished the storyline. This is definitely one of the must have if you haven't tried out Disgaea series yet!

This would be way better on a larger screen. The Vita doesn't do it justice.

This game is great! I'm only in chapter 2, and the laughs just don't stop. If you like tactical role playing games with serious gameplay and level grinding with a comedic script and plot, you'll love this game.Best Disgaea since the first!
