Male port is NOT NPT.
Nice product but the inlet port is NOT NPT.Actually I should have noticed from the photos - it looks like a parallel thread, doesn’t it? And yes, the product delivered does have a parallel thread. I looked up the manufacturer’s data sheet using the part number on the box, and that says that while the outlet is 1/4 NPT (it is), the inlet is 1/4 PT. Well it certainly isn’t that either!My application doesn’t exceed 1 bar, so with a bit of extra tape and a tightening, I can get away with mismatched threads, but it would have been good for the description to match the product!
