Q: Would the palm cushioning be strong enough to support full body weight on parallel bars and reduce pressure on the bones?

I would say, probably not. I find even doing narrow grip curls the bar digs in. Great for gripping the bar and supporting the wrist but not really cushioned!

Q: Are these gloves suitable for the washing machine?

Yes they are mines are still good

Don't buy it. It's not strong enough and doesn't last. I was using for dumbbell but unfortunately it keeps tearing apart. Please look for a better one.
