I would not call this product "gentle." It's similar to mixing sand and liquid soap. It does scrub the groin area.

Might say for downstairs use, but if you shave and look like you still have a gray beard outline...or some unlucky bastard with halitosis...exfoliate before a shave with this stuff. Life-long ingrown hair sufferer here...this is the best pre-shave and standard scruff prep I have ever used. The beast exfoliator is ok...but not near as good as here. Little rough of your face...but better than the ingrown hairs...by a long shot. Will use the rest of my life. Period.

It’s heavily scented and is identical to any other exfoliatir using beads. Highly scented soaps aren’t great for sensitive areas. Otherwise, it smells great. I use it everywhere other than my “crops”.
