I have tried about 4 or 5 NVRs that cost less than $100. None of them even remotely worked, including this most expensive one of the pack. Before this one, I tried the NV4016, that didn't worked out but was told the 41xx series has more powerful CPU, and I gave it a try, but it didn't work either. All of them suffered from under power. While advertised for 8-16 cameras, none can really function with more than 4 at most. All of them also have user interface that are jokes. The worst thing is this thing hanged during a recent trip. No access and no recording after that. Totally failed to perform. As comparison references, the Android tinyCam app performed far better than any of the NVRs I have tried for camera viewing. The QNAP's QVR Pro or Surveillanc Station are far more reliable than than these too. Bottom line, don't wast time and money on budget NVRs. A QNAP NAS or cheap PC doesn't cost much more but are far more capable and reliable than these.

Was able to get it up and running pretty quickly. I am using rtsp streams from my old HDTVI LTS DVR to send 6 cameras to this NVR from another building. I also am using a ZOSI and Wyze ip camera via OMVIF and RTSP. I love that I can interface many different types of cameras. The Interface can use a little updating. The IOS App works well. Computer interface is a little clunky, needs to be able to work with modern browsers.

I ordered this item expecting that I able to move my surveillance system off my computer, and I do have some wireless and wire cameras, the problem with this unit, it does not recognize any wireless device, so I cannot use it. In the description does not mention anything about no seeing wireless cameras. Please do not waste time with this item.

After spending 8 hours playing with the programming, I finally figure out how to use the zoom feature and how to set up the tracking features. This nvr will work with cameras that have the human body detection feature. The programming states that it also has face recognition feature, but no information on how to use or access the feature. The manual is a complete joke, it gives you a website to look up information about the software, but that is also a joke, as none of it talks about the software that is running the NVR. The XMeye software is also a joke, as it will not even detect the cameras that are already working on the NVR. Find other software that will work with ONVIF cameras. This NVR had no problem connecting with the ENSTER cameras that I purchased from Amazon since they are also ONVIF cameras. The software that works the NVR does not have the ability to turn on the flood lights of the camera or make any changes to the light output of the cameras. All in all after playing with the NVR, I am happy with how it works. Time will tell if it stands up to the test of time, as there is no insurance that you can purchase for this item, as it is not very expensive compared to the other NVRs out there for sale.

Cheap chinese electronics but functional, mostly. I have 6 generic SPDIF cameras hooked up and it seems to work. Sadly, the built-in web interface REQUIRES OLD and INSECURE BROWSER! I'm sure that's not a security risk - LOL! This device is best kept on a separate internal network, away from your important stuff and with no access to or from the internet! To that end, my device is config'd to detect motion and upload to dedicated FTP location on internal Synology NAS, and that folder is linked as a media content folder in the Video Station. TL;DR - it works but is a potential security risk.

I purchased this NVR in June 2019. It started freezing a year a couple of weeks later in July 2020. By August 2020 it stopped booting up at all. It shows a Seculink title screen when you plug it in and that's it. The network connection doesn't activate and the cameras do not connect. You can't even check on settings via hdmi and using a mouse. It's essentially a paperweight. I would not recommend this NVR at all.

Bon petit enregistreur vidéo, l'application est relativement bien fait. Quelques bugs pour configurer certaines caméras mais sinon fonctionne très bien.

Lo compré para usarlo con cámaras wifi y la verdad que contento porque metiendo la ip manualmente las detecta y luego si lo conectas el grabador a un ethernet puedes acceder a las cámara desde cualquier sitio con la aplicación que recomiendan va muy bien lo compré hace tiempo

Die Einrichtung war unkompliziert, und das Gerät läuft absolut stabil. Alles in allem ein Top-Produkt für Preis, das ich uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen kann! Alle IP-Cams / Onvif / RTSP verschiedener Marken in meinem Netzwerk wurden gefunden und eingebunden.

Great unit for the money. 3 x 3mp cameras work almost automatically. I really don't know why people are leaving negative teviews, this unit is great, easy to set up and use. Came from a similar unit that was 1080p. Ptz works great on unit and through EMeye. If people can't set this up, maybe someone else should do it or the caneras are not compliant. Works great on my Onvif cameras.
