Great tool for its money.
Great tool for its money. As a dryliner, I use it exclusively for cutting plasterboards. It is lightweight and easy to use. Saves a lot of time. I am very satisfied with it. For heavier work, I have an original Makita.

Light and easy to use.
Much handier and easier to use than my heavy mains reciprocating saw. I have both Makita andMakita type batteries, both fit although fitting and extracting are a little tight. I’m sure they will loosen up with use.

Not powerful.
It looks a nice saw in a good box,but it is too slow it takes to long to go through a bit of 2×2 it needs to be faster. So you need to pay a bit more and get a better one.

Just unpacked and its failed after 30s
It failed after 30 seconds of use, I have the makita batteries and charger all work fine with all my makita equipment, buy cheap buy twice, shame because it looks like a handy bit of kit.

Neat device
Well made and feels solid. Great value for money but important to note battery is not included. My 18 volt Makita battery from a drill is perfect.

Machine itself is fine. The blades it comes with do nothing. So get some good DeWalt ones.
Machine itself is fine, cheep and cheerful, but does the job. The blades it comes with do nothing (litterely don't cut at all!). So get some good DeWalt ones. The battery connection is quite tight, but not an issue.
