Mia Secret Cover Beige Acrylic Powder (2 Ounce (Pack of 1))

UPDATE: Update: I have been using this powder exclusively for 3 months, and they are so much better than other powders I've used. There is almost no lifting, even 3-4 weeks in, and the lifting that does occur barely affects the strength of the nail's adhesion. With other powders I would have 1-2 nails pop off if I was getting lazy on a fill and I'd have to glue them back on for the final week or two, but I haven't had one nail come off, or even come close to coming off, with Mia Secret powder at all. Super thrilled to have found this and can't imagine trying another powder at this point. Original Review: I am always on the hunt for the perfect pinky-beige neutral in nail polish and this is even better because I don't need the polish now. Cuts nail time by 1/3 because I don't have to wait for polish to dry. Like others have noted, the color is certainly pink-tinged and not a true beige, but this is what I was looking for. There are very, very subtle glitter flecks -- almost microscopic -- which I *didn't want, but they're so small they're basically imperceptible and would only be noticeable to you up close. I just did my nails last night so don't know how long before/if they start to lift.

This was my first time doing a full sculptured acrylic manicure. And I'm very happy with the result. I love the "Cover Beige" color! As other reviewers have noted, the color has a pinkish hue, which is the reason I got it. It also has a very subtle sparkle and I love it. The first photo was taken right after I did my nails - no nail polish, just buff and shine. The acrylic is very easy to use with self leveling and does not dry too fast. Even for me doing this for the first time, I was able to sculpt my nails just as I wanted them to look. The second and third pictures were taken today, a week later, and the nails still look perfect. They have not begun to lift or crack, or fall. They look as good as when I first did the nails. I'm very impressed. My big advice would be to make sure you also get the Mia Secret Primer - makes all the difference in the world! I'm very happy with this Powder.

This acrylic was easy to use and the color was outstanding. I placed a small amount of Mia Secret Acrylic powder (Cover Beige) on the nail mold (Ecbasket 500 PCS Clear Dual Nail System Form UV Gel Acrylic Nail Mold 10 Size) and then place it on my nail. I wiped away the excess acrylic that squeezes out from the sides. Waited a few moments and gently pulled the mold off my nail. I then shaped the nail as I wanted it. This was so easy and did not require allot off buffing because the top came out smooth. I put a top coat on using UV dryer and I was done. My nails turned out beautifully. I absolutely love the beige. This was my first try and have to say this will be my go to process for doing acrylics. With more practice I will be able to perfect the process.

I'm a chronic nail-biter who started doing my own acrylics a year ago because I wanted pretty nails. I'm not to fussy and most of the time just want a clean, natural look--and this powder does the trick. I'm medium-fair skinned, neutral toned, and it's a pretty good neutral look on me. It's a bit more pink than the photos suggest--definitely some red tones instead of yellow-brown, but for me that works perfect. There's also some VERY subtle shimmer-flakes, but they're so tiny and well-distributed that you don't see them unless you're looking hard, and again they actually contribute to a very natural look, since natural nails aren't perfectly matte.

I don't really like how it's sparkly, but other than that it's a nice color. (it's not suuupperr sparkly but it definitely has sparkles in it)
