Would recommend as they were delivered fast and are strong material.You will need to buy ratchet straps seperatly aswell.

the rack came and i put it together it grey on one of the wing nuts on the bottom hasn't been threaded so im one short tried to explain to amazon and just wanted a replacement part as i didnt want to send the whole thing back and all i need is a replacement part im feeling frustrated with amazon as every is prerecorded 😡

These were bought to carry 2 kayaks. To be fair they do the job well, feel a little flimsy and the foam padding lasted 2 trips, easy to replace with foam and gaffer. Overall as long as my kayaks don't go flying down the road through mabels window whilst she's eating her scones and watching antiques roadshow I'm happy.

Fitted these to my roof bars (which was very difficult in itself) and within 3 weeks of being in the roof they began to rust, so obviously removed them. See photos. As we had gone past the standard 30 day Amazon return window, the seller then proved impossible to contact via Amazon in order to request a refund. PLEASE DON’T BUY. These are a total waste of money.

They do the job. I'd only add that you need to factor in he additional height you need to lift your kayak, to get onto the rack - especially if you car is already tall, or you are shorter - that extra effort is harder as the kayak goes higher above your head height. Once on, they hold them tight and snug.

I can’t see how this is a folding j bar but it serves the purpose I bought them for.

Fit the racks to my roof bars. Managed to get about 50 metres down the road before the metal started warping and my kayak fell off. Unacceptable!
