In order to find the proper size for yourself, you will need to take a few measurements, which you can then compare to our size chart located on our website. Since you only need to cover your foot, I would recommend one of our half leg sizes. Therefore, the measurement you would need to take would be the circumference of your calf muscle, just below the knee as well as the length from the heel to where you measured your circumference. Q: Will this fit over an adult large size walking boot?

These are designed to go over casts and you select by size. Since they are intended to fit snugly over a cast, I doubt they would fit properly over a bulky boot of any size. Think of it as a very tight rubberized sock.

Q: can you use in public swiming baths

yes, I am sure it would be fine to use in any public pool. It kept his cast totally dry.

Q: How does it stay on? Can you walk outside with snow/rain

It is tight at the top. Then it comes with a pump to suck out the air and make it tighter. Yes, you can definitely wear outside in the snow and rain. You can swim in it.
