4" Adhesive Plate Hanger

Q: I have a large, 18" turkey platter that is pretty heavy, do you think this would work? Who is using this for BIG platters??

I can't be sure because I don't know how much it might weigh but I have a heavy plate that I used two of the large ones on and it's been up ever since(3years) maybe you should contact the seller just to be sure.

Q: Would this work on metal items? I have a lightweight metal tray that I'd like to display on the wall.

Disc Plate Hangers do not work well on metal items. This is because metals oxidize, and the hanger adheres to the oxidized metal that eventually detaches from the plate. Some metals, like stainless steel and gold don't oxidize very much at room temperature, so they might work. I have heard of mixed results with people that hang metal trays. If you want to try to hang a metal tray, make sure you clean it very well, and remove all the oxidized metal from where you attach the hanger. I have also had some people tell me that they have used duct tape and monkey glue (but I do not recommend this).

Q: How much weight will the 4" disk hold?
