ProCare 79-97867 Surround Gel Ankle Brace, Large, 10" Height

Broke my ankle. Doctor recommended this item to me until I was able to get to a specialist to get it properly taken care of. Easy to adjust and use. Only issue I had was doctor wanted me to wear enclosed shoe with it but it was a bit uncomfortable. It did give me the stability I needed at the time.

This product came in a box that was not sealed closed. I found outside my place outside of the box full of dirt! That is not okay!

This is exactly what I wanted. I broke both bones in my ankle decades ago but never took out the metal. Every once and awhile my ankle feels 'shaky' and so I've used this type of brace for a day or two until it feels solid again. Helps immeasurably! I've never put the get packs in the freezer but I may try that, too. I'm 5'2" and the brace is a Large (10 inches). It comes well below the knee and does not interfere with anything, except tight-legged pants. My old one finally fell apart and I'm thrilled this is exactly the same, and for such a great price ($16). Highly recommend.

Needed a brace post boot after breaking my ankle. This one does a great job of protecting the bone as it continues to heal.The fabric under the heel is a little flimsy and could be a little thicker/stronger. Thats the only reason I didnt give it 5 stars. However, it held up for the 3 weeks I wore it.

Fits into sneaker with laces loose. However, the strap under the foot ripped after two weeks so then the whole contraption was not able to provide the support to the ankle from sliding laterally. Overall, it did the job of supporting the ankle, but have to wear it with shoes as the bottom plastic did hit the floor. Takes some time to get the right adjustment of the straps for individual foot.

This was a blessing! I used it to cover up my GPS box when I went to work each day it definitely got the job done!
