In-feakin'-credible for breast and side stroke kicks!!! THE ONE fin set to own!
UPDATE-Amazing feedback for optimal "slicing" position of feet. LOVE them as that side to side "flutter" went away after 3 weeks of use so that likely means that my "stabilizing muscles" that hadn't been activated got activated and adapted/grew. I now would like to assert that these aren't "specialty" fins but are the only fins one needs for competitive swim training. WOW! works VASTLY better than hoped for breast stroke and side stroke (I am an old school Lifeguard; and will always keep up my side stroke performance) kicks!!! TRULY optimized for these kicks. On scissors kick, I did notice a side to side "flutter" or "shudder", not performance robbing; and I actually believe that ones tiny leg "stabilizing" muscles will get developed to counter act this motion. So, SUPER for breast stroke kick; and good, but not optimized for, scissors kick. I wear a 13 shoe and the XLs are a perfect fit!

Easy to get along with
These work well and are easy to get along with. An aid to swim training, and a boost when swiming in the ocean. I also bought longer fins, but they were hard work over distance and less easy to use.

Be careful of blisters
I wore them today while swimming for an hour. I felt some pressure points in certain areas at first. I took them off, readjusted, and didn't feel any more rubbing. The fins didn't feel too big or cumbersome, but it was a little hard to tell compared to the other kinds of fins. They are heavier than the silicone brand of flippers, that's for sure, but not too heavy, surprisedly. Easy to slip on and off in water and on dry ground. Plus, they are comfortable. I love being able to move my ankle freely. On the performance aspect of the fins. It's hard to describe how the fins adjusted my body for the correct posture. I tried to give in to it and just go with it. My body was resisting, unsure how to kick with these new sets of fins. After the first five laps, it felt great doing the crawl. My kick felt stronger and more efficient. During the backstroke, it was way more easier, and less energy was being expelled. I did a few kick sessions, and the dolphin kick was cumbersome but still needs some practice. The one kick I had some trouble with that couldn't be corrected this session was the breaststroke kick. It's like my body forgot how to do it with the fins. But I'll definitely get it next session. I'll wear my swim socks with them to prevent any more blisters. They fit right over them. My shoe size is 9.5 women, and I bought XL as instructed and suggested by others.

FINIS Positive Drive Fins are lightweight, comfortable & you can do breaststrokes with them.
Review of the FINIS Positive Drive Fins (PDF) - Four Stroke Training Fins. I am a recreational swimmer. I’ve owned and used long and short fins, but the FINIS PDF is the shortest yet. It’s also the oddest looking one. It looks like I’m wearing a Frisbee on my feet. I’ve never seen anyone else using the FINIS PDF so it does attract stares from other swimmers. The primary reason that I purchased the FINIS PDF is that I finally decided to master the breaststroke. My breaststroke kick is horrendous and I get no forward motion from it. The FINIS PDF is supposed to be one of the only swim fins that you can use in the breaststroke. After using it for a month, my breaststroke kick with the FINIS PDF has improved, but it is still a work in progress. For this reason, I am happy with the purchase. I wear a shoes size US 8.5 which is a MEDIUM in almost every brand of swim fins. I decided to double check and ask Amazon’s “Ask Rufus” which size I should order, and the answer surprised me - XL. I thought that was a mistake so I searched FINIS’s website and found a size chart for the PDF. For my shoe’s size, US male 8.5 - 10, the FINIS PDF size is an XL. Some reviewers have complained that the FINIS PDF have caused foot pain and skin abrasions. From my experience, all swim fins can cause some foot cramps and pain, but that usually goes away. Skin abrasions are possible if the fins are not properly sized. So far, the FINIS PDF are the most comfortable swim fins that I have ever used. The FINIS PDF are light enough that they will float back to the surface of the water if you drop the fins or they fall off your feet. The are also light and small enough that I intend to pack them in my luggage on my next overseas beach / outdoor swim pool trip. Overall, I am very pleased with the FINIS PDF. They have become my primary swim fins.

They work well for breaststroke
They work well for breaststroke. I wish they were silicone and had a different kind of strap. This rubber rubs the top of my foot and toes slightly and not in a good way. They also need to be adjusted a lot because the knots will come loose. I can easily kick them off if I'm not thinking about it. Not the most comfortable for me, but they work. I swim with the Master's swim team.

good lap fins
great fins for laps, surprisingly strong water displacement despite small size, comfortable and seem well made. Great price value. only negative was had to leave outside for two days to let them off-gas before using but after a swim they are smell-free.

These are the best swim fins I've ever used
These are the best swim fins I've ever used. They provide just enough propulsion, do not put pressure on delicate knees, and they force your body into an anatomically correct swim position. Great for training aids and I have been known at times to use them in longer open water swims to help keep pressure off sore shoulders. I wear a women's 11.5W shoe and the XXL is perfect with plenty of room in the elastic back to stretch out. My only complaint is the back is very hard to adjust and if one of the rubber ties becomes undone, it can be a little annoying until you can fix it. But I love these so much I have two pairs -- one to keep with me at home and one at my parents house so I don't have to take them on a plane.

I’ve been using these x 5 days a week and they are fantastic. They do not give you as much speed as normal fins but they help by making you do the kick properly. Can be used for all strokes, even breaststroke. I love them they make my swim fun and has corrected my imperfections.

Promosse e consigliate
