They sound fine not sure what the bad reviews are for.
The media could not be loaded. They don't sound amazing but neither did the original speakers. I'm not sure what everyone is complaining about. They sound basically the same as what I had before my left speaker blew out. It's an 11 year old laptop it's not going to sound amazing.

So far so good but not great
I just installed the speakers in my MacBook Pro early 2013. The sound is clear but not loud. Not the greatest sounding speakers but they fit perfect, came with some tools, and fixed my issue. I can live with the sound quality as long as I don’t have to replace these again any time soon.Warning: This repair is not for the faint of heart. There are lots of connectors and super thin ribbon cables that can easily break. If you have never worked on laptops or cell phones, don’t try to do this on your own. It’s real easy to screw up your machine. You have to take the motherboard out to get the speakers out. There are no shortcuts.

They are not the same as the factory speaker, but its better than listening to distortion
My left speaker went bad ( to the point nothing was legible coming out of it). The price was right on this, so i decided to give it a try.First and foremost, you need to know what your doing, Took me about an hour to tear it down and put it back together.Second, The tools included were very nice, Magnetic tips are a must when dealing with very small screws. Had no issues with the supplied screwdrivers.Third, They physically fit perfect. all screw holes lined up and mounts very easy. Lastly, the sound quality is sub par (maybe a little lower). These sound nothing close to the original speakers. As most of the one star reviews will say, no bass and not clear highs. Also, i only get half the volume i had before. For me, I can live with it cause its still a major improvement over the blown speaker, But its not good to listen to music with like with the originals. If your audio is absolutely horrible or you have blown speakers these will do the trick, if your upgrading for better sound quality, these are not it.

They work great and sounds quality is similar to the original.
They sound very similar to the original speakers. Couple points to know, the screw on the left speaker that sits under the logic board is not long enough as the plastic on the surrounds are slightly thicker. This also caused my hard drive to touch the speaker on the right side but I have a large capacity after market drive which is slightly longer than the factory drive. Other than that all the screw holes lined up and everything fit. Sounds clean and loud. Happy with the buy.

If you are going to risk your computer for a new speaker, don't buy this one.
After 2hours of an extensive dissamble of basically the entire computer. This speakers sound terrible, they have no BASS. You can hear sound from it but it's like a very old radio sound. Also there is a screw that doesn't fit. So you will have to glue, drill or just leave it without screw which will make the computer sometimes jiggle. I want to return this but it's so demanding to take it off that I don't know if it's worth it. If you are planning to risk your beloved MBP try to find an OEM or used functional speaker and take a chance with it.UPDATE: Just bought a used original speaker from ebay company name Tekdep, I had to dissamble again the entire computer, thankfully it was easier and less stressfull the second time. I only had the left speaker blown, so I just ordered that one. After 1h, I can happily say this used original speaker sounds great, and the bass of both are working again. I don't know if apple has something to do with it, but I just replaced the left with this brand and had NO BASS in both!. Weird. But everything is fine now. Sound is great again.

Works Great/Intermediate Installation
I had to teardown my whole laptop to replace these, not an issue, but not easy to install, but works great for me. My original was blown out. Youtube will probably be your best friend

Not exactly like the original
Sound quality is a bit worse compared to initial Apple product, but much cheaper alternative to Apple repair and beats a broken spells by miles. Replacement is extensive work (2-3h), patience and a steady hand is key. Using the provided hardware would work, but I had an Ifixit set with various prying devices that worked better.
