RollerLite 2FOAMFD/6 2-Inch Roller Lite Slim Trimmer/Doors and Trim Refill

I have used these 2-inch rollers for years. They work great! Smooth application even on metal and plastic. They are the only rollers I use for trim, touch-up and really smooth surfaces. The 2-inch size is perfect for tight places. The problem is finding these gems. I first bought them at Home Depot, but they don't carry them in-store anymore (at least my local Depot doesn't), so I went to Amazon. I am a Prime member, so when I saw these available I was very happy and placed an order right away. When my order came it had ONE package of 2 rollers. The description on Amazon plainly says 2FOAMFD/6 2-inch Roller Lite Slim, etc. The order was supposed to come with 3 packages, 2 rollers in each, hence 6 pieces. I called Amazon and a woman in Customer Service said she would send me, by next-day, the rest of my order (2 more packages). A day later I got another box with ONE package in it (so 2 more rollers for a total of 4 pieces. This is definitely the slow way to accumulate 6 rollers). I called Amazon customer service a few minutes ago; explained (again) I'd like the rest of my order - 6 rollers/3 packages total. I was told by a gentlemen that the "/6" was part of the part number and that $9.47 was for one package/2 rollers. It didn't matter that I pointed out it clearly said /6 2-inch... It didn't matter that $9.47 for 2 pieces of foam (approx $4.74 per piece of foam) was exorbitant. It didn't matter that I had ordered this before and it had consisted of 3 packages/6 pieces. It didn't matter his colleague told me not 48 hrs prior that she would send the rest of the order. I told him then I would send back the 2 packages I received on the 2 separate days because that price was nuts. He said he would send me a UPS label. I went on line and found the phone number to Customer Service at Quali-Tech, the company in Torrance, CA, that mfg's these products. The part number is correct as "2FOAMFD" and the "/6" denotes 6 pieces (3 packages) in one order for $9.47. They do not sell directly from their website, but their helpful customer service rep checked the Home Depot website and these rollers can be ordered from them on-line, for free in-store pick-up, and the price for ONE 2-roller pack is a much more reasonable $3.47. The Quali-Tech rep also said he would talk to his Amazon person and see if they could resolve this issue. Amazon is good when it's good, but more and more I have trouble with their on-line descriptions being accurate, their employees having correct product information, and even timely delivery despite being a Prime member. Three times in the last two months I have received emails saying my package has been delivered, only to find out that Prime used USPS and "delivered" meant to the post office, not to me. I got the products 2 to 3 days later. So much for paying $75.00 a year for free second-day delivery. Unfortunately, you really need to carefully read Amazon's descriptions, don't assume that their employees have the same understanding that you may have, and don't expect that they are willing to find the answer if clarification is needed.

These little guys are hard to find. Home Depot and Ace Hardware don't carry them anymore. I didn't check Lowe's. They work perfectly for small areas and trim. They spread paint nice and evenly. You can wash them out and use them many times without damaging the roller.

This is a handy paint roller get trim done in half the time.
