Great bit. Went through a lot of rebar and it held up well. I rent the drill stand and I’m always worried about hurting a rental bit. This is great didn’t have to worry and saved the bit rental. Will be buying all the sizes I commonly use.

Needed it for a last minute job out of town, next day delivery came in handy and equipment worked just as it should. I Needed to drill through 8 inches of a granite stone for a 1 inch pipe. I kept cold water on during the drilling and the bit stayed nice and cool. It took some time ( about 40-45 minutes ) I bought an adapter to use with my drill but the threads were not long enough for the bit ( the Threads don't start at the top so 1 star deduction for that ). Luckily I also have a cordless Milwaukee grinder that fit perfectly. The grinder worked great and I was able to put a lot of pressure on it too without any overheating. I went through 4 batteries ( 5ah each ). I could have used a hammer drill and star bit for MUCH faster results but it would have blown out the rock on the other side. As other have said , you need to start the hole at about a 45 degree angle and then straighten up. The bit has plenty of life left too! Great drill bit.

No issues! A cost-effective alternative to rental or name-brand barrels.I purchased this to drill a series of 5" holes into an old stacked-stone and mortar wall. It cut through the mortar with ease. Naturally, drilling through the natural stone took longer, but the barrel cut through the stone smoothly and with ease. With an extension attached, I was able to drill 24" deep clean holes.It's worth noting that this is a wet-cut-only barrel. Where possible, get a garden host attachment for your core drill to keep the water moving. It keeps dust and temperature down and also continuously flushes the cutting surface to maintain a clean surfance for the teeth.The bit still looks great. No damage to the teeth and wear appears minimal. I trust it will cut many more holes.

Worked as expected, cored 8 6" deep holes in Paver Brick/Mortar/concrete foundation. Still cutting like new after 8th hole.

The shaft is well constructed, but there is so little abrasive on tip, I could only drill one hole. Compare with dewalt bit, which has alot of abrasive. I bought this for the length
