A big problem with soda cartridges in my experience is getting ones that leave a machine oil taste in your drink. The iSi Golds cost a little more but never do that. Recommend.

Making your own seltzer water relieves you from lugging bottles from the store and the used cartridge takes less space than a bottle in land fill.

I tried 2 different kinds and like these best even though they're more expensive. There is a small taste difference although I don't know why. I use my soda syphon all the time and usually drink it plain but sometimes mix it with fruit syrups from my local Health Food store. Kids love it mixed with the syrups.
