I cannot say enough good things about this toy. If you're concerned about the price, don't be. The exercise involved in making it go is well worth the price. The only problem I have with it is getting the grandbaby off it. She literally rides it till she falls asleep on it. If you notice the video, she stops every few feet to hug it. Aside from how much she adores the Ponycycle, the toy itself seems very well made and likely to last for years to come. She needed the pedal extensions which made the horse a lot easier for her to ride and she will ride it for hours in circles around the house. I expect to be searching for mechanics to rebuild this one before she outgrows it.

This pony is built well. We bought it for our 5 yr old granddaughter. (Size 5) It was def. Too big for her but they decided to keep it to get a lot of use out of it since it is pricey. (Also older brother could ride it). Other ride ons marked with these same age requirements, that we have purchased, were too small so we went larger however, I agree with manufacturer on this one. Ordered a little one for our 2 yr old granddaughter!

Got this for my grand daughter. She is 5 and the large size is good. She has learned to make it go! The noise box gets hard to use. It moves and you have to go fishing for it. That did not bother her too much. I got the reins to go with it. Especially good to lead the pony when not riding. It does not go backwards- probably a safety feature. Good riding toy!

This thing is sturdy! Make sure to check your kids height to know which size. We have a tall 2.5 yr old so I ordered the bigger one intended for 4-8 yr olds and he can ride it fine on his own! My only complaint is that the noise thing moves too much and doesn’t work. As a horse lover, this is as close to the real thing as you can get.

I really like this item. My great Niece enjoys riding it every chance she can. I am glad it does not roll backwards. Easier to ride on tile or sidewalk.

My grandkids 2 and 6 love this!

This is a bit more expensive than some other similar items, but it works great and is very sturdy. We have kids from 2 to 6 riding this and they are rough and tumble with it. It took a bit of practice for the younger kids to find the right motion/rhythm but now they go great and love this toy. It does not turn around, but it's easy and sturdy enough for them to get on and off to turn it around themselves. It's a favorite at all the gatherings.

My daughter got this pony from Santa, and even though it is pricey but she loved it! It’s a very good exercise for her. The sound is good, the material is soft and it looks “real”. And the size is good for her, she is 3yo but she is tall and I got the one from 4-8 years and it’s the perfect size for her.

Mi hija de 4 años ama a su caballo y a mi me encanta que hace esfuerzo con sus piernas para que se mueva, en mi opinión eso es mejor que los que son eléctricos, además de que me han dicho que suelen tener fallas. Este es muy bonito, tiene un efecto de sonido, puede girar y tiene un seguro para que no se vayan hacia atrás. Solamente espero que las llantas aguanten bien porque mi hija lo usa diario, hasta ahora se ven en buena condición.
