Can't beat this cage for the money, couldn't be happier with it.
This is a great cage for the money.I have a yellow napped Amazon parrot and it's a great size for him. after reading the reviews I was sceptical of ordering from this company. But after seeing a cage much like this one only not as nice at my local exotic pet store for $400.00 I decided to take a chance. I'm so glad I did. I received it a week earlier than they said and it was in perfect condition. Took about an hour to assemble and is very sturdy. in my photos I don't have the seed skirt on or the tray in the bottom of the cage but it did come with that. This cage has solid cup doors which is a nice feature. Also comes with 6 stainless steel cups. If you order hopefully your luck will be like mine and you will be totally happy with your purchase.

Missing and damaged parts
The first thing my husband and I noticed was that the seed catch panels, for around the bottom of the cage, were bent and damaged so bad that they are unusable. There were not enough screws provided, to attach all of the panels. The screws on the play area, on the top of the cage, are so long and stick out really far. It would have made more sense to have shorter screws for this. Not only so your bird doesn’t get hurt on them, but also for esthetics. The other issue we had was that the panels of the cage were also bend. For the order of the first cage we got, the panels were bent so bad that they couldn’t have been screwed together. The box was crushed and damaged, almost like something heavy was set on the cage, at the warehouse, and it bent some of the panels of the cage around the other panels of the cage. So we had to return that cage and order again. This time, the seed catch panels were very damaged and unusable but the panels of the cage were not bent. The latch on the main door of the cage is loose and not very secure either. You can tell that the latch is very low quality. I guess we can make it work. We have a conure and I don’t see it being able to move the latch, to escape. One of the biggest issues I have had is that the latches for the food bowl doors don’t stay screwed in. These latches have to be swiveled around, to open the food bowl doors and then slid back down over the door, to lock it shut. Each time I open the latch, I have to twist the screw, that is holding the latch, back in. Otherwise the screws get very lose and then the latch just dangled there. It has been very annoying to have to deal with this every day. The problem is that the selection of heavier duty cages like this is very limited and there is not much of a selection. If I could have ordered a similar cage, from a different company, for a better quality cage for the high price I paid, I would have. For the $400 I paid for this cage, the quality should have been way higher and parts of the cage should not have arrived damaged and unusable. I was tired of having to order and return and then order again and also deal with lugging this heavy cage back to the shipping company to return it and so I just made do but being able to use the seed catch border would have been nice, so seed doesn’t get all over the floor. I know it’s pointless to try to request new parts for this because customer service is just going to tell me I have to return the entire cage and reorder. Both the first and second order of this cage came with those parts damaged and unusable and I’m sure I would have the same issue with the third order and risk the panels of the cage on the third order being damaged as well. I would not have ordered from this company, if there had been other companies to order this cage from.

Bird cage
Very well built, sturdy and large enough for my bird to fly around and play with plenty of room for toys and perches. Nice tray at the bottom for easy clean up.

Great size
It’s a great cage and my bird loves it. My only complaint is that one of the feed doors was hanging off but I was able to fix it.

As expected, easy to assemble
Our cage arrived without damage and was fairly easy to assemble. The instructions are not great, but the pictures from the purchase listing are helpful and it is somewhat intuitive. I did wipe it down with soapy water before use but it wasn't really dirty or soiled.

BALI APPROVED
The media could not be loaded. It's super easy to clean and once wet debris comes off quickly. I use a hard plastic dish cleaning spatula to gently get any stuck bird droppings. The seed guard helps a lot. but on days Bali chooses violence he manages to get over the sides onto the floor. So I got an office mat for the edges. Lots of bowls and the top comes off. Bali likes this option and moves freely about without the dogs. Cons the door does freely swing so it's best to get a C-clip or hook to hold it open. Shipping did damage some parts at no fault to the seller. The part was the seed guards and one of the trays. Not a big issue nor does it effect the stability of the cage and the tray is actually extra since Bali likes the top off. I did let the seller know and they gave me a 10 percent discount for the imperfections. For a macaw Bali seems to enjoy it. He did destroy the top perch in the first week but I got some apple wood branch and made a few altercations. It seems to last. These birds in nature chew. I call them sky beavers. So have plenty of Madrone, Apple, Beech limbs available for them to chew on.

JUNK!!!!
JUNK JUNK JUNK. I bought the larger one for $549. The cage arrived dented from both shipping and prior to shipping. Many spots dented and the packaging was fine which leads me to believed it was dented before shipping. The bottom support rail for the poop tray was completely off so the tray cannot be held. The front door lock is no lock, its a cheap fake, my parrots figured how to open it in minutes. It made form thin aluminum that is easily bent. The food bowls are also supported by the same thin cheap aluminum, when the birds stand on it, it bends down. The instructions are terrible, several parts with no information as to where they go or attach. Do not waste your time or money. I contacted the seller with no reply for help. Major scam.
