Fairview Game Rooms Signature Pool Table Chair (Oak)

Came on time in 2 boxes. Assembly time was about :30. The directions are easy and straightforward. Seems to be sturdy and the color (mahogany) is accurate with the pictures. No complaints although I would say it may not stand up to commercial use but should be fine for my pool room.

These chairs are fantastic and they were half the price of identical looking chairs that we saw at our local billiards supply store. I was a little concerned about buying these sight-unseen but based on some of the other positive reviews, I decided to take a chance. And I’m glad that I did! These are every bit as solid as the more expensive ones that we saw in the store and they look just as nice. The instructions were straightforward and they were pretty easy to put together. I would recommend that you tighten the screws by hand though as some others have mentioned that using a drill could strip out the threads. I used a hand screw driver and had no issues. Very happy with this purchase.

Great chair - Very sturdy - Easy assembly. NOTE: The number of wood button plugs that cover the screw holes is less than the number of screw holes. Pay close attention to which ones you are covering. Why wouldn’t they just include 4 more plugs???

Pros: - Assembly was an easy 10-15 minutes. It can be a one person job, but having two makes it a bit easier. Seeing all the parts looks intimidating at first, but good diagrams and common parts keeps it easy to assemble. - Cup holders are large and deep enough to serve their purpose. Cup holders have holes in bottom and are removable for cleaning. - Finish looks nice, though Chestnut was a little darker than I anticipated. Finish coat is a mix between satin and semi-gloss - I sat in a chair through four games and it remained comfortable, though on the firm side. The chair has very dense foam that seems like it will hold up well. - Price beats the $450 the billiard store wanted for a similar looking chair Cons: - Several of the threaded inserts stripped out inside their hole under very low torque. I had the epoxy to fix them, but this could be a real problem for some. If others start tearing out the chairs could loosen quickly. I worry that this design relies on a few threaded inserts to hold together. Because every surface is has a finish applied, you can't even add your own glue as a back up to the screws/inserts. If worse comes to worst over time and the chair loosens I'll replace the machine screws with longer wood screws and see if that works. I left the hole buttons out for now so I could re-tighten the screws if they loosen up with use. - The black vinyl seems very thick, it does not feel anything like leather (but should hold up well). - No metal plate on foot rest like some other chairs had to prevent scratches to finish. Mostly pleased with the purchase. I'll update the review if I find the chairs loosen up and can't be easily repaired.

This chair is great. You would never guess it's a couple hundred dollars less than most other pool spectator chairs. The quality is exceptional and the chair is comfortable. Had a small issue with one of the chair pieces that was addressed promptly by sellar. I highly recommend if you are looking for this type of chair

The chairs are durable, sharp looking and a great asset to my pool room. I found them hard to assemble for me and so my cousin, who is a carpenter by trade, whipped them together in a matter of a few hours. All the pieces were there and the only pieces he found hard to insert were the dowels that he had to sand them down. Other than that, the chairs were put together very fast and very sturdy. I wouldn't hestitate to buy more of them.

Amazing chair, everything you need for a billiards room!

The assembly was a bit tedious, but not difficult to follow. We like ‘em. Very nice finish on the wood. Let’s see how it holds up over time. Packed and cushioned very well and came in good condition.
