I bought this pan to replace my old Greenpan that I bought in 2008 or 2009. That pan was the best frying pan I had ever used. It got constant use and came with me when I moved aboard our sailboat in 2014 as my only fry/saute pan. After so many years of great service it began to show wear so I decided to replace it. The only pan I wanted to replace it with was another Greenpan. I chose this pan because it seemed to be the closest style to the one I was replacing. I have been using it for about a month now and if anything it actually performs better than my old one ever did! Every type of food I have cooked in it comes off with ease. It disperses the heat very evenly. I have been able to sear and brown food when I've wanted to without any sticking. There has been no discoloration anywhere and it still looks unused. In my opinion, it's a well made, solid piece of cookware. I will note that the very first time I used the pan a bad chemical odor emitted from it. So bad that I thought I would have to return it if it continued. I am happy to say that it never happened after the first time so it won't deter me from giving this pan a five star rating. Highly recommended!

The food is well cooked, yet come very easily outo of gthe pan. It cleans so easy that it looks totally new. I am sure this is the best pan I have ever had and, for that, well worth the money.I would like to purchase anther one, but it is currently unavailable (!).

When our townhouse collective upgraded all our stoves a couple years ago from regular electric ranges to glass cooktop stoves, it seemed wonderful at first and mostly non-problematic: my large array of pots worked perfectly on it.Then I hit a snag. None of the pans I had worked well on the new stove. Either they had massive hotspots that led to things burning, or the multi-ply bases took forever to get to temperature and then failed to properly maintain it. So I went on a search...And eventually arrived at this pan. Instructions say never go above medium heat, so I've followed them and can say that when heat properly distributes thru the base like it does here, you really don't need to raise it. A different ceramic coated pan I bought lasted a week before everything started sticking to it like nobody's business, but this one has been in use daily for a month now and it is every bit as nonstick as it was on day 1: so nonstick in fact it can be hard to flip eggs without using another turner as a back stop and pancakes glide around like air-hockey pucks. I've also followed their recommendation and not used any concentrated dish soap on it, only water and basic Ivory though most of the time it cleans up perfectly with just a dry paper towel.

I am skeptical about writing this review. I own no non-stick pots and pans. I think they’re all dangerous. But after some research this plan came closest to meeting my needs. Do I believe it’s a healthy pan. I’m not sure there is so much written about this product it’s mind boggling. I am hoping it’s a better choice. I only use it sparingly since I really don’t fry in my home. I use it for making French toast, and only chicken wings. I never deep fry, the blessing of this pan is I place the meat into the pan and allow it to use its own fat to cook in. This pan does the job unlike my non-stick pan where everything sticks and falls apart. Those are the only two things I really use it for. So far so good, at this time it cleans really easy, love the lid, at a certain heat it cooks thoroughly, the food tastes good. I hope nothing is leaching into my food.

I just used this a few times and it's working out... I must say it is VERY heavy. This is as heavy as a cast iron pan and then you add the heavy lid- wow. I did not see that in any other of the reviews.

I love this pan. Nothing ever sticks.

I bought this pan to replace an eight-year-old nonstick pan that had finally worn out. After fighting with worn/sticky spots on my old pan, I was very careful with my new Green Pan. Used medium heat or lower, cooked with oil or butter, used silicone and wood utensils, cleaned according to directions. Yet after a few months, burned-on stains would appear whenever I used the pan. I could get rid of them at first with careful soaking, baking soda mixture, etc. Then it became harder to fix, and those spots remained sticky. I see the manufacturer sells a special cleaning sponge for sticky spots, but that defeats the convenience of having a nonstick pan for me. I gave up after 6 months and spent the extra money to get a Calphalon.

This fry pan is very slick. Nothing sticks to it...even cheese! The finish is also very durable. No problems after months use. I got it for my fussy husband and he likes it.
