Over the past couple months I’ve been focused on upgrading my 2016 F150 XLT with the best mods on the market. After doing a lot of research and comparing different items, I came across the Rockford Fosgate Punch P300-10 , 10” active subwoofer. Eventually, I got one installed and that led me to my next upgrades, replacing fords terrible stock speaker system. After researching 1” tweeters I stumbled upon these Skar Audio spx-t 1-Inch 320 Watt Max Power Elite Neodymium Aluminum Dome Tweeters. I purchased and installed these myself. The overall structure quality of these exceeded my expectations for sure! These tweeters are solid. Unlike ford’s stock tweeters being light and cheaply made.. SKAR Audio includes a cool sticker and a manual with product dimensions for installation. Also, includes crossovers with good quality wire already attached ready to connect. The wire length is extra long, more than I needed. Thanks SKAR Audio! Moving on to the sound quality of these tweeters..LOUD and CLEAR! I've been upgrading my sound system over the past couple months, and wanted some tweeters to boost my highs after adding a 12 inch sub. These do the trick and are the full package! They sound awesome, and the included crossovers seem to be of good quality. They're a good size that don't stand out too much, but definitely look nice, and the aluminum housing compliments some of the chrome accents on my trucks interior. I used a 1-7/8 inch hole saw to cut out the mounting spots, and these fit in perfectly with very little wiggle room. The screw ring on the back is textured so I got a good grip to tighten it with my hands and no tools needed for that. I ran the wiring off the front door speakers, soldering them into the terminals. Installation from start to finish took about 2 hours including disassembling the door panel, cutting holes, soldering, the whole thing. They sound awesome! There are better tweeters out there for sure, but you'd be spending more than twice the money to get the full setup with crossovers. I'm using mid-range, budget-mindet components for my sound system upgrade, and these fit the bill while sounding nice as well. I might get another set for the back doors. They're that good. I'd give 10 stars if I could.

Awesome little tweeters, easy install, it took me and my 16yr old son 20min to install both. They are loud enough and really showcase those highs in the rear cab now. Basic electrical tools, hole saw and some planning is all you need.

For the price I paid, I at least expected copper wires. the quality looks good. One was scratched out of the box with a small scratch. The sound is fine and the fit was what I was looking for. Replaced some that were half the price that sounded a bit better, but didn't fit as well.

nice speakers ,good sound,but when u order it says 320watts,when it gets deliverd its only 80watts max,not empressed

Amazing quality tweeters good sound too

Garage (lots of aluminum flying). Been about 6 months and time for the review. I upgraded the good little Skar tweeters to Great Skar tweeters. They need a clean 50W or more to really perform though. Using 90's Precision Power active hi/low crossover instead of the supplied passive. Skar mids in the doors get the bigger PPE amp. Sony amp with passive hi/low Sony crossovers power the little pointable Skar tweeters mounted up in the ceiling and some small Bose in the rear doors. 12" sub and everything belts good. Even out the open 4R tailgate. Spent a fortune on systems the last 40 years. Naks, Quarts, everything else. Stolen, damaged, worn out, obsolete. I finally dove in and ripped all the stock audio out and commited to the Skars. They are inexpensive and perform well. If something happens I'll just buy them again. PS: found two apps that help find acoustic problems 1) Spectroid 2) Function Generator (keuwlsoft). Cheers
