Why did you pick this product vs others?:This stuff works great. I've tried 10 products before this and they didn't work as advertised. I spead this on and waited a few minutes. It wiped off and was bright white.

Works amazing, used a pump sprayer to apply it on the boat. Just enough for an 18ft boat.Results speak for them.selfs no scrubbing needed.

Cleaning power is the best that I have ever seen for cleaning scum lines from salt water. I use a garden sprayer to apply a diluted solution. Just spray it on and wait 2-3 minutes and rinse off. Be careful with it. It does burn skin in the concentrated form and will take your breath away. Rinse your sprayer really good after use. Even a diluted solution will eat out the sprayer seals if left in the sprayer. Great product.

I was generally pleased with this product which did a reasonable job in removing stain from the transom of my boat which had been in the water (fresh) for almost a year. It's not magic and took two applications and a lot of scrubbing but it certainly helped.

This is powerful stuff. My freshwater boat had a huge scuz line that I hit with everything I had in the house and nothing touched it.On and Off took it right off.Be very careful, its very acidic, smells awful, but wow does it work!Used 1/2 a bottle on a 16 ft boat.

Sitrep: Maine lake, fiberglass boat in the water from June to October. Tried everything on the accursed lake mung that had seemingly stained the hull for all eternity. Car wash soap: No. Tub and tile cleaner. No. White vinegar. No. GooGone, GoofOff, dish detergent, bleach, PurplePower. No. This is like some sort of unholy intergalactic lake mung. Enter MaryKate. Protect trailer with plastic per directions (this stuff may eat metal so there's that). Wear face shield (3M Face Shield), safety glasses (stupid - I'll get goggles next time), Grundens overalls, industrial rubber gloves (West Chester 12018 18" Chemical Resistant Gloves, Large, Black). Forgot the respirator (more on that in a minute). Have wife on standby to call medical assistance along with hose in case I slip and pitch headlong into the open bucket o' MaryKate. Dump contents of On and Off into a white 5 gallon bucket. Use a long handled car wash brush (Carrand 93053 Dip-n-Wash Vehicle Wash Brush, 8" Head with 48" Handle - the bottle says use a "natural bristle brush" but this worked just fine). Try not to breathe. Insert brush into white liquid, Drag brush over mung. Seconds later, mung is gone. Continue around 19' boat taking no more than 3 minutes. Eventually have to breathe. Bad idea. Next year, I'm getting a half-face respirator and some good North cartridges. Hose off the residual and marvel at the product's effectiveness. It's like an "as seen on TV" infomercial but this stuff worked. Drop the mic, boom, done. Amazing really. That said, there will be a next year. I think you could clean a couple of 19' boats with one bottle of MK O&O. Results may vary but I was convinced rinsing only with about 50 psi garden hose (some show a pressure washer but that wasn't necessary for our evil mung). Please, use caution with this stuff. It's very high strength and produces a very strong gas that you don't want to inhale. Thanks for the feedback, it helped me choose this incredible project.
