Were the cows never fed grains?

It absolutely matters. They will have higher omega six and lower omega-3 if they were given grains and corn. If it’s 100% grass finished it should say that and we should expect higher omega threes and lower sixes !

Does this have sugar in it ??

no, ghee is melted butter with the dairy skimmed off. this is grass fed butter.

Does it contain dairy?

Pretty sure ghee is ~99.4% free of any milk solids. So the answer is yes, it does (considering, it does come from a cow), but the milk solids that are present are the lowest you will find in any dairy (~0.6%).

Is ghee butter kosher? And is it dairy free?

Our products have not obtained Kosher certification at this time. Additionally, our Ghee is not dairy-free. However, it has little to no casein or lactose, meaning even very dairy-sensitive people can usually eat it. With that being said, we recommend checking with your physician if you reserve any doubts.

how does the season i.e. Spring Summer or Fall impact the quality?

i am excited to say that i love this product as much or more than regular organic salted butter i've used for years. i liked tghe information about it and how the nutritional value along with micro nutrients mixed in with coffee. wow this is special made me sit and enjoy as i dove deep to learn more possible benitfits. would the seasons in the year impact the nutriion value for the milk cow and for me. the value and quality be elevated ? as is i am benifiting but want to learn more ways to incorporate to daily life. my capachino recipe i borrowed from online friends making a claim! spreading the Gravy of Life and this provides a satisfying drink that stays with you all day and taste so many benifits .i am demanding in my food and clean, real, is key to Healh .

Taste like butter,and fresh!!!!

I'm lactose intolerant and I heard that people have been able to have butter ,but only in ghee form. I had purchased ghee in another label and it tasted bad I tossed it. This one tasted like butter . I'm very happy with this ghee!!!

Previously satisified, but not this time.

I've ordered this product 10x previously and have been very satisfied with it. This time, not so much.Product arrived on time and apparently as described.Before opening I noticed something that looked like some dark streaks inside. I know that dark specks are ok, but this looked off. The seal was intact.After opening I found the consistency odd. I know that it changes with temp, but this had small lumps, kind of like watery oatmeal. Stirring did not help. A spoonful was sticky, lumpy and watery, all at once. It didn't appear to smell rancid, or even bad, but perhaps strong. I threw it out.They changed from a glass jar to a plastic jar. I don't know if that was a factor.
