Rubies Girl's Supergirl Tv Show Costume

This costume has a very rich, blue and type of fabric. That is very good quality. It does not look cheap. It has a sort of drape affect when it is worn. The skirt shifts around really cute. I don’t know if my daughter had very long arms, but the arms were a slight bit short. it was not noticeable to other people. The logo was not cheap. Overall, the costume is really cute and very pretty.

NAILED it! My daughter has impeccable taste! This was all her.! She was invited to an all super hero’s bday party. The costume was of really good quality. I did have to pin the belt in place and purchase the red shorts to go underneath. But other wise, she slayed!I was very satisfied with the quality of the fabric and stitch detail.

the xs is way too short, but fit my 6 year old in the body (average child 50th percentile height/weight)the small is very, bug It can be worn, but not as cute. the cape is also much longer which is a plus. we kept the small and she wore her old xs costume with leggings.

For the price, we were surprised with the quality. I went with a Medium and everything fit OK. Normally a size 10/12, everything was a little large. But that was intentional in case we had to wear warmer layers. However, the skirt ended up laying rather short. The plan was to always wear leggings. But I was surprised given everything else was a bit bigger. Not necessarily something she was able to run around in the house in (with company around).

This is the official Supergirl costume based of the Supergirl tv series starring Melissa Benoits. It's big on my niece but as she grows up it'll fit her perfectly.

This costume is well made and looks sharp. Pay close attention to the size chart for children when placing a order. I bought a medium for my 9 year old daughter and it fits perfectly. She measured 54 inches tall, 26 inch waist, 27 inch hips and chest. She has some room to move in her costume so it's not skin tight, just use a sweatshirt underneath and it's a perfect fit. Great price to boot.

My daughter loved her costume! The material is higher quality than your average Halloween costume. It seems like she'll be able to play in it after Halloween and it'll still hold up. The cape attaches with velcro, but the but doesn't attach to anything. I'll probably end up sewing it on later since it tends to shift out of place. There's nothing under the costume itself, so I just had my daughter wear a pair of shorts under it. Great costume.

The costume it's self was not bad. It did have thread coming out of the armpit area, from a sewing machine. The cape was nice. My issue is with the sizing. I read the reviews. I measured my daughter. Using the sizing chart in the picture, I chose what I thought would be the right size. My daughter is a petite 9yr old. She wears a size 7/8 (or 8). I thought ordering a medium would be just baggy enough on her to wear warm clothes underneath. The packaging even says U.S.A. size 8-10. However, we could barely even velcro the back. The arms were a little snug. Definitely not enough room for clothes underneath the costume. If we live in an area that had warmer Halloweens, it'd be fine. I had to do a return and reorder in a bigger size, also having to pay a few dollars more, because now the costume has gone up in price since I first ordered a few days ago. We like the costume. It's just frustrating that the sizes are so far from accurate.UPDATE: The new one, a large (12/14) came yesterday. It's in just as good condition. It is pretty big on my daughter. The large is significantly longer and wider. However, at least she can wear layers underneath...
