Very nutritious mix of grains and taste is very good.

This is a mix of 8 different grains or rices. It is very hearty and nutritious. MUCH better for you to eat than white rice. It is usually referred to as purple rice because some of the grains turn the water a purplish color.

Makes you full faster since it has glutinous rice. Need to leave in rice cooker longer than jasmine or Japanese mix rice. Easy to cook in rice cooker. Soak for an hour in rice cooker prior to cooking. Then start rice cooker. After cooking, need to leave for half a day for extra moisture to be gone. I use two cups of the mixture to 3 cups water.

I just received my bag and was so excited to try it. Before I even opened it, I saw weevils crawling around in the rice! I’m so disappointed.

Love the variety of grains. This package mixes with rice in a 7:3 ratio, so it makes allot of meals. Offers great nutrition while stretching your food dollar. Nice nutty, grain taste. Add or reduce rice ratio as desired.
