Best blubs out there
I recently outfitted my entire house with about 40 Sengled Zigbee Smart Light Bulbs, connected through two hubs, and I am thoroughly impressed! These bulbs have completely transformed the lighting in my home.Installation: The setup process was a breeze. Linking the bulbs to the hubs was straightforward and hassle-free, which was a relief considering the number of bulbs I installed.Performance: Each bulb provides consistent and reliable performance. I have full control over the lighting in every room, from dimming to scheduling, all from my smartphone. The ability to customize scenes and schedules adds a whole new level of convenience.App Integration: The Sengled app is intuitive and user-friendly, making it easy to manage the settings for each bulb or group of bulbs. Integration with other smart home devices was also seamless, enhancing the overall smart home experience.Value for Money: Considering the quality, performance, and the number of features each bulb offers, these smart bulbs are definitely worth the investment. They not only add comfort and convenience but also help in reducing energy consumption with their efficiency.

Works great, setup could be easier
I bought this pack of 4, and also bought a starter set of 2 bulbs with Hub and Echo, in a Cyber Monday deal. The main reason was a hard to reach switch controlling 3 bulbs. I'm using the 4th in the same room, on a different switch that I want to control differently. I had looked into buying a smart switch, but all the ones I found said they could be tough to fit in the box, and if I can avoid dealing with wiring, that's fine with me. The drawback to this is that I can't physically switch the bulbs on and off since if I happen to leave it off, I can't have Alexa turn it back on. But I can control the 3 lights on the same switch independently if I have reason to dim them differently or have some on and some off.Pairing of the hub went easy, once I actually plugged in the ethernet cable all the way. It looks like you have to plug it in wired first, then you can go wireless after hub setup. For now I'm just leaving it wired. The hub is in a different room, about 40 feet away from the bulbs with a wall in between, no problem.Next, I climbed up on a counter, unscrewed the old bulb, and screwed in the new. That was a mistake. You have to scan the bulb first. Luckily I only did this with one.Make sure you give permission to the app for your camera and storage so it can scan each bulb. Otherwise you'll be trying to read tiny letters, and trying to figure out if it's a 0 or O.From there it's pretty easy. Screw in the bulb, flip the switch on to give the bulb power (bulb will come on), and hit OK to pair the bulb. The bulbs flash two or three times, then a few seconds later are paired. You can pair multiple at once. You have to assign a "Scene", or room the bulb is in. Then you individually name each bulb for Alexa to use, and have Alexa discover the devices. I'm not sure the real point of a Scene other than you can use the app to dim all the lights in the scene the same, or turn them all on or off. I actually find the different dimming levels useful, to make the one over my laptop dimmer, and one over a work area brighter. Alexa does not seem to let you control the entire scene--she will ask which device you want to control. Of course you can set up a group in Alexa, which I did for the set of 3 I want controlled together.Note that these lights don't dim all that much. I still have incandescent lights in my living room that I can dim to almost nothing, and these don't come close to that. But that are noticeably less than full. Fine with me for this application, but I probably won't get a set for that living room. I guess I'd have to change out that switch anyway, since they don't work with dimmer switches.I'm between a 4* and 5*, mostly due to setup not being really intuitive, but it wasn't too bad, and I really like having Alexa control of these lights for a very reasonable price.

Good Bulbs - Would be great if...
Using with Home Assistant and Zigbee2MQTT. Works very well, good link quality, and fairly responsive. Only thing it is missing is the ability to set Power-on behavior (Controls the behavior when the device is powered on after power loss). Would be 5 stars if it had that function.

THESE DO NOT WORK WITH ECHO 4TH GEN ZIGBEE AS THE ONLY HUB-MUST ALSO HAVE THEIR ELEMENTS HUB
this is a review of the (Sengled Smart Bulb, Zigbee Hub Required, BR30 Dimmable Flood Light Bulb for Can,4 bulbs) My one-star review is for the misleading marketing and the 2 days I’ll never get back trying everything to make these work as advertised with the Echo 4th Gen as the ZigBee hub. (4th Gen Echo’s ARE ZigBee hubs). After a day on my own and an hour and a half with tech support. Conclusion: the “Sengled Smart Bulb, Zigbee Hub Required, Smart Light Bulb Works with Alexa, Google Home, SmartThings, Homekit and Siri, BR30 Dimmable Flood Light Bulb for Cans, Soft White 2700K, 650 LM, 9W, 4 Pack”WILL NOT WORK USING ALEXA 4TH GEN WITH ZIGBEE AS THE HUB unless you also have the ELEMENTS SENGLED HUB to work WITH the echo 4th gen. Unlike other bulbs that will work DIRECTLY with the echo 4th gen as the ZigBee hub.I have many Sengled bulbs, and the only reason I buy them is because they are cheap. But far and away over all other brands they are the biggest PITA to live with. Both the Bluetooth and the Wi-Fi bulbs. The Wi-Fi bulbs that use a hub don’t stay connected and are horrible to set up. Bluetooth are super easy to set up via Alexa, but are constantly “unresponsive” while my Phillips hue bulbs have lasted over 7 years and haven’t dropped once. I guess you get what you pay for.If you’re going to go with this brand, do yourself a favor and ONLY buy the BLUETOOTH “Auto Pairing with Alexa” and steer well clear of the Zigbee bulbs unless you want to buy their bridge and have another hub in your house.

Awesome Zigbee Lights for Home Assistant
Great lights and the Zigbee integration with Home Assistant was a breeze, it picked them up right away. Even though they're only 550 lumens, when you got 4 of them they're BRIGHT. I dim them to about 75% most of the time. They grouped just fine with no problems and have a steady connection. Will get 4 more for the bedroom when I can.
