I am booting to windows on my ssd. will i be able to get the fan working?

Does the x-c1 adapter board act the same as a x735 board or are they two completely different things? (pwm, safe shutdown, ups support?, etc)

Is there an easier way to take out the sdcard than to unscrew the back panel? otherwise, it's flipping awesome!
