Not the best quality but fixable
Compared to similar clear cases I've have, the material is flimsy and there's a significant seam that runs along the entire edge of the case that makes for poor hand-feel. Otherwise the overall mold is good. The low price is the only upside and boosts it to a three star for me.Edit: Took an exacto knife to the seams and it was really easy to scratch off and feels great now. Gave it an extra star - for the price I'm okay making this mod :p

Does not protect phone
Dropped my phone once, and a rock punched straight through the case. Dropped it again elsewhere, and the bumper for the lens was not high enough to keep the lens from shattering.

Pretty Cheaply Made
If all you want is a clear case around your phone, it does work. Would recommend being VERY careful putting it on and taking it off as it almost certainly will tear at some point. It will let the color show thru nicely and since I got the purple phone, I wanted a clear case option. Will eventually upgrade to a Spigen Ultra Hybrid when they are available again. All in all, it is a very low cost item and probably worth 7 bucks, but don't delude yourself into thinking this case will provide any significant drop protection. It should keep scratches off of the back but this thing is paper thin. If a thin case is your thing, you may like it. Also does help with the grip as this phone is a slippery bugger without a case. I'm using a Spigen RuggedArmor now and it is fantastic, but eventually think I want to get the clear UltraHybrid. Enjoy.

Seam around the edge makes it uncomfortable to hold
Because the Xperia 1 iii is rare in the US, there isn't a lot of selection in available cases. I found 2 clear minimal cases on Amazon. The other one was OK; this one was awful. It has a raised seam around the edge from where the plastic was molded that makes it extremely uncomfortable to hold. It could probably be filed off, but I recommend a different case. It's also not very flexible.
