Amazon Brand - Happy Belly Select Green Tea with Jasmine 1x20 tea pyramides

I used to drink a lot of 'Gunpowder Supreme' .. I think from Tea Pigs.. but can't find it anymore - these are a good alternative .. Gunpowder is the only type of green tea I can actually drink .. nicer taste and not as bitter as some. I find I can leave the bag in without the drink becoming too strong. One thing I do find a bit odd with these bags, but not a show stopper, is that the glue that fixes the paper tag on the string to each tea bag seems to be impossible to peel off the bag without creating a hole, no matter how carefully you do it. So far not a massive issue as not a lot of the tea escapes through the hole.. but can be a bit annoying. Otherwise all good.

I was sceptical. I’ve bought some very weird tasting tea before but the reviews seemed favourable so thought I’d give this a try. I wasn’t disappointed! Great priced green tea. Refreshing, not bitter and no nasty tang to it. Even the kids drink it. It’s not as flavoursome as other green tea I’ve had but I just leave the bag in longer. Agree with others about the glue ripping the bag when detaching the bit of cardboard. I just don’t bother to detach it and use it as a normal bag. No great hardship to use a tea spoon!

This is a very nice tea and the price is OK. I think the bags might be environmentally friendly, that is great if so but it seems impossible to remove the tag from the bag without ripping it. It would be better if they were not even attached. Please fix this as is otherwise a 5 star great product.

Due to the string being attached to the tea bag when you pull this off it leaves a hole in the bag - tea leaves floating in your cup…

The tea manufacturers here used regular glue instead food approved glue which cause tea tear down
