AcuRite00509 Color Weather Station with Count Temperature/Humidity/Forecast,Black and White

Bought this to replace a very old version which died from battery corrosion/leaking. The outdoor unit hangs unobtrusively, and the indoor unit sits on table near window between two recliners. Works great, very handy and accurate.

I liked the fact that the outside temp. is very easy to read but the time , inside temp. and date are small and difficult to read especially if you need to wear glasses.

It was exactly what I was looking for. Big clear numbers and one I could read at night. Perfect. Paul Miller

would be better if light stayed on longer than 25 seconds

Nice unit works well. I have it in a heated shop to monitor the temp from the house. Sends a really good signal through metal walls. I tried other brands for this purpose and they would not send a signal through the metal cladding. Temp and barometric pressure seem very accurate display is nice but the reason I only have it 4 stars is because the display unit has to be plugged in and I was wanting a battery operated display so I could put it anywhere in the house!
