These don't turn into a gooey mess after a week in a hot tub or spa. The measurements are accurate (I used a digital caliper to measure them) so, if they don't work in your spa it's not because they aren't the right size. I bought some "ProLine" filters from a "reputable" dealer for twice the price of these. They fit but within a week they were turning in to blue goo. I also used one of the cheap Pleatco orange filters and it had the same problem. Great product.

I've had my spa for 17 years, and have bought a lot of PWW10 filters. In my spa two filters stack in the housing, and a plug goes in the top filter to control flow of water through the filters. Most filters have ends that are kind of rubbery and flexible, and the plug that fits in the hole has worked just fine.These POOLPURE C-4310 filters have ends that are hard and not flexible at all, and the plug does not fit in the hole at all because the hole is too small, keeping the plug from fitting, which would allow all the water to bypass the filter.I would have had to return the filters, but I was able to make the holes larger to make the plug fit, using a lathe. In the past, in order to make similar problem filters fit I used a drill press and a sanding drum. It was a real PITA and very messy. I doubt most people would be willing or able to modify these filters.Otherwise, I like these filters. The media seems good quality, and the price was excellent, but if they don't fit your spa correctly, be prepared to modify them, or return them.

Very Chlorine Resistant Most Important Hot Tub Feature For Me . Have purchased filters in the past more expensive and said to be resistant for Hot Tubs but the tops have turned into Gooey mess in a few weeks. Hope this helps someone that has had this problem also. The only thing as mentioned in other reviews is the holes on top and bottom is not rubber and flexible like others so it may not fit unless you Dremel or sand the openings as needed to make a bit larger but if your handy and have the tools this should be no problem

It says that the open on top & bottom is 2 1/16 inches. It is not. It is less than 2 inches, and will not work in our spa. Please refund our money!
