My landlord updated the light fixtures in my house, which is great style-wise, but they decreased the light level significantly. I thought I'd put some extra bright bulbs in them to compensate. These bulbs are very bright and would have been great if they weren't taller than a standard lightbulb. Maybe I missed those dimension details in the description somewhere. The bases are the same size as an average bulb and screwed into the sockets fine, but they're maybe half an inch to an inch longer (I forgot to measure them exactly) and the fixture cover wouldn't fit over them. They're too bright to not have some sort of covering, so I put them in a couple lamps with shades big enough to envelop them without accidentally catching an unshielded view and blinding myself. They work great for brightening up a room without overhead lighting. The takeaways are: 1) Make sure your fixture has extra clearance, and 2) These are too bright to go without some sort of covering to shield your eyes.

These things are so bright that it looks like day light in my room when it is dark. Will brighten up a dark room. Love them

Work great, very bright and efficient bulbs. Unfortunately they are larger than expected so they could not fit in the lamp we intended that normally fits a standard A-lamp bulb. We put this one to good use though. Minus one star for being very bulky.

If you are like me, 60 watts equivalent LED light bulbs that seem to be flooding the market simply don't provide enough light. It is difficult to find higher output bulbs, but these 150 watts equivalent LED light bulbs sure do provide ample light! Please note that these are NOT smart bulbs, so if you wish to use them integrated with your Alexa or Google home systems, you will need to use a wifi smart plug for your lamp.

Brightest bulb I've ever used in a standard lamp for sure. The bulb is about 20% larger than a standard bulb. I used the first in a uplight fixture with no problem and it lights up the room, exactly as I had hoped. But the second bulb would not fit into a medium-sized lamp with a shade; it was about 1/8 inch too big. Definitely measure the max distance you need before buying.
