After 3-4 months, the fob protector does not even have a scratch or tarnish that is reasonably noticeable. Maybe like ever so slight scuffs from every day use but the silver is still shining. I bought this purely for the fob protector but the keychain seems durable too. Really happy with purchase.

Looks great, easy to install, but you can't access the physical key
This would be a perfect cover except for one small flaw - and it might not be a big deal for most people.I have a Ram pickup with the RamBox toolboxes. Those have to be locked and unlocked with a physical key. You cannot access that key with the cover on. Other covers leave that part exposed, so you can take it out. If I didn't have to use that key often (like most owners), it wouldn't be an issue, but for my circumstances it becomes unusable.
