A Jesus Fest
Mr. Booker has a pedagogical writing style guiding the reader in a clear way how to celebrate Jesus through Biblical feasts. I love that he seeks Christianity’s roots to the Jewish tradition and Old Testament. I regret that he doesn’t seem to see the wealth in the teachings of the early church and church Fathers. If I understand right, he feels they rejected the Jews and Jewish teachings and therefore have gone astray. He offers practical advice on how to incorporate Jesus Fests into church and family life to enrich our understanding of Jesus and His salvation story.I recommend this book for those who want to understand the Old Testament teachings in light of the New Testament and Jewish tradition.

Best book to read
This is excellent reading and draws you closer to God. The explanation of the feast and how Jesus and people today can relate is an eye opener. Please read it.

Best Book Out There on the Feasts!
I teach at Oral Roberts University and use this book as a textbook for my Old Testament Intro class for theology majors. It is excellent! Its long overdue, too! For years teachers and students have needed just this kind of book to open this area of study. Its written by one of the foremost teachers on the Feasts, Richard Booker, whom I have known for a number of years. I am so glad that he put this book together! We ordered copies for the Oral Roberts University Library also, and it stays checked out. I would highly recommend this book to the lay person, too. Its easy to read, and gives much insight into this area of study without complicated theology. Just an excellent book for anyone! Feasts are bridges to many things within the Judeo-Christian area of study. They open the door to a world that most Christians NEED to explore by painting pictures that are missing in their relationship with Messiah Jesus.

A great read, I know one slightly better...
Don't get me wrong, this book is a GREAT read & is FULL of invaluable information! I have been doing a LOT of reading on this topic. The only other book I found to be better (in my opinion) and easier to understand with more charts, etc. for clarification is The Feasts Of The Lord God's Prophetic Calendar From Calvary To The Kingdom by Kevin Howard and Marvin Rosenthal. I'm not trying to pit one against the other, they are both VERY GOOD, but I liked the Howard/Rosenthal book a little better. Both are great...

Life changing book helps the Bible come alive even more.
This book is a must read for every believer! My husband and I started studying the Hebrew roots of our Christian faith about two years ago. Learning about and following G-ds ancient paths has changed our faith and walk with G-d. G-d is the same yesterday, today, and forever. The Torah and His ancient paths given all of mankind in the Garden of Eden was never abolished by Jesus, a better translation would be to say he walked it out perfectly. He is the goal of the law. If you really want to WWJD, then read this book and learn to do what Jesus did. His religion was Judaism, He was born a Jew, He died a Torah observant Jew, and is coming back a Torah observant Jew. So it really is about time we gave Him and His disciples back their Jewishness and really learn what that means! It is all of our heritage. You will find Jesus all throughout the Festivals of The L-rd as this book will teach you. This book is straight forward, full of history and will open your eyes to your Jewish Messiah and His people. This book will truly teach you what Jesus would have done, how He would have lived and the Holy Days He would have observed. Then do yourself a favor and start observing them like He did. You will be truly blessed in livingG-ds best life that is laid out in His Torah! (The first 5 books of the Bible also known as the books of Moses.)Susie McElroy

AWESOME BOOK!
This book will help anyone who is trying to understand how to celebrate God’s Feast & Festival Days, especially if they are not Jewish, where I always thought only the Jewish celebrated these types of things, but God wants the Gentiles as well to celebrate these every year too & this book really helped me understand why and how to do so!

Nice little book
Bought this book as a birthday present for my brother but I got to read it before him! It appears to be concise and to the point, pulling out the comparisons of OT types and the fulfilment in Messiah. Nice little book and a good addition for any believer's book collection.

Excellent Book
Very good teaching on how the biblical feasts relate to the mission of Jesus the Messiah, and how each feast points directly to Jesus.

Jesus in the Feast of the Lord
This book is a must for understanding the importance of the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ and just what His blood has cleansed us from. The Feasts are a must study for the Christian, they give amazing insight into God's programme for humanity.
