A great product for anyone with a dog; the leash has semi customizable lengths which is a really nice feature. The rope is quite thick and wouldn't rip easily, and the colors feel quite stylish. I personally keep it when my dog wants to hang out in the yard since you can adjust exactly how far he's allowed to go. For walking though, I would recommend one of those 100% customizable retractable leashes if you are constantly adjusting the length.

We've also gone through a handful of leashes and this one was the most used. It is so simple, yet, so functional in many ways, my husband loved this so much for our 65-pound husky. It was very easy to handle and this leash needs more recognition!

I got this leash because it was cheapest (with decent reviews) for what I needed, but then I got it and was blown away. This leash is thick and sturdy (much sturdier than you’d think a $16 multipurpose leash would be). It’s also has nice looking leather pieces, quality clips and loops. I have an Aussie who’s training to be a service dog, and the second closest loops work really well to keep her in a close heel when I’m out in public and need both hands.This works great for me because I bought it for the cross-body adjustment. However, if you want this for running, I might not recommend. It’s not cumbersome, but it’s heavier than I’d like if I was going to me running.All that said, I really am super impressed with this leash. I’ll update if something happens to change my mind, but I’m so far I have no complaints.

All the components of this leash are high-quality and strong. The rope itself comfortable to hold. Clips and rings have nice-looking leather covering their attachment points. This leash does what I ordered it for - a back-up snap leash that I can carry snapped cross-body and have at hand as a tie to secure a dog to a post, for double-leashing if necessary, or for walking two dogs. It would have been nice if it could also be used as a hands-free leash but that was not the main reason I bought it. As someone else has said, the leash is too short to wear over shoulder and clip to a dog's collar. The spacing of the rings also prevents clipping around your waist. So not really hands-free. The way that I use this leash it would be a good point to attach a long leash to for hands-free walking. The only other drawback I have found is the lack of an o-ring or d-ring at the central point of the leash. This would allow for clipping on a short loop handle for more comfortable use to walk two dogs. As it is, you just hold the leash at the middle of the rope with a dog clipped at each end, works but not comfortable if they pull. I've taken off one star in the overall rating for these two reasons. Solid overall but not a hands-free leash on its own.

This leash design is smart and made by people used to have dogs. The rope material is soft and comfortable in hands. I would say that in general this is a good leash, but have two concerns:- On attached photo you can see condition after one week of use, and not sure that it may lasts for a long time.- I am 6 ft tall and recommend to make this least one foot longer to comfortably use over the shoulder option.Update: After a week of use I decided to return this leash, because it continues its disintegration and reduce to 3 stars.Manufacturer should not kill good design with poor quality of stitches, please fix this issue.

I would definitely recommend. My husky loves it, and it’s a very thick and durable type of rope. Makes our walks easier.

I've been using this leash for about a year now. It's very sturdy, my dog tends to bite the leash sometimes but there's been no tear or rip. Great thing is it's rounded so less risk of leash burn when your dog pulls. I'm 5'2 so it fits me perfectly as a shoulder leash but it wouldn't work for taller people.

I purchased this leash because of the should leash option and sadly the measurements for the should leash would fit a small child.
