Purchased as a gift. Grandson in Chino California uses it when hiking in the hills behind the house. Lots of rattlesnakes and bugs. the metal is hard, the triggering mechanism and arms are very sturdy and thick, fit nicely on a walnut 2x2, get creative with it.

ready to buy but cant wrong mounting types.
We need a gate head with a mount with a inside OD to fit on a one inch ROUND ROD for our stocks it would be much better then this type of mounting, we all use round dowels and are in great need of replacement slingshot heads with ROUND mounts not SQUARE why doesn't anyone make them with round mounts?
