I got this book as a little extra gift and he couldn’t put it down he said it’s one of his best presents!It’s got some silly interesting fact that a child of 6 does need know . Definitely recommend.

Bought for a birthday gift, and I'm sure they'll love it.

This is an appropriate book for getting a child interested in learning facts. Although it's for children aged 6, I would buy it for a 5 year old to grow into. Jokes are roughly 1-2 sentences long without too much jargon or big numbers for a child who is in year 1.The facts are not only insightful but also cheerful for adults and younger children to learn.

I've just bought the books for 6, 7 and 9 year olds in this series for my friend's children. The facts are fascinating and beautifully presented and I, in my mid 30s, have learnt an awful lot from them. I am, however, bitterly disappointed by the quality of the binding on the book for 6 year olds, as the pages have completely come away from the spine on the first copy I bought, so I optimistically bought a second copy, as I really want to be able to gift this book, and the same has happened with this copy, only far worse this time, so that the pages have detached from the book. I have been very gently looking through the pages and would not have expected this poor quality from one book, which has been designed, I assume, for a child to leaf through enthusiastically time after time, never mind two copies. I have just seen a reviewer make a similar comment, which is disappointing to realise that mine is not an isolated case.I would give 5 stars for the content, but 1 star would be being generous for its durability and quality. I would buy this book, but realistically I would choose to buy it from a shop where I could see what I was getting before I paid for it.

Bought for grandson who wouldn’t put it down until he had finished reading it.

Full of amazing facts (not all of which I knew) and lively illustrations. Children of six, and my grandson is a prime example, love to tell you things. With this book, he'll be able to read them for himself, and I know he'll wear my ears out telling me all his new facts. Excellent value too.

Bought this to take on holiday. Kid wanted to start reading it. Read the first few pages and then the pages started unbinding and coming away from the spine .. fun facts but surely it should last more than less than one read... if it wasnt for the poor build it would be a 5 star review

Appropriate information fir a 6 year old. Grandson enjoyed sharing with us.
