Used this all fall and winter on an enclosed but very cold porch where my bird had to stay. Toasty warm all winter in northern Illinois. Easy to adjust. Wish it had a way to set a temp and it would turn off when this was reached and back on when temp dropped but it kept running night and day for months on end. Bird did great and new circumstances let her in with us all the time now.

Heater is sturdy and works awesome. I have bought a few of these type of heaters and most don't last long and are cheap quality. One started on fire the second time I used it. This unit has multiple watt output and fan speed and temp selections and is a quiet humm unit This unit can pump out some good heat. I am impressed !!! This one will be the furnace for the dog house. I will definately review this QUALITY (Canadian !) PRODUCT and I will purchase another (multiple) in the near future. Car warmer/ tool box heater/ ebike battery warmer X2.... Yup I will be buying more of these awesome little heaters. Thank you

There are only a couple of these low profile heaters with freeze protection available. Previously, I purchased an Xtreme Heaters Boat, Cabin & RV Heater and it works great for freeze protection in my RV. Was going to order another one and saw this as an alternative for about half the price. Gave it a try and am happy. It is steel casing vs. plastic and seems to work just like the other heater. At this point, I have not had the opportunity to use the freeze protection feature, but have been using it to maintain a constant temperature in our nursery, which it has done well.

I have a hybrid car and when the temperatures drop into the -30s, the battery struggles to charge. So, I put this heater in the trunk and on a timer to turn on and off through the night to keep the battery warm. It works great and I can control the amount of heat it supplies with the thermostat. As a bonus, because the normal car battery is in the trunk as well, it too stays warm.
