Nice small box for baby shrimp
I wanted small box to put some baby shrimp in so that the fish couldn't eat them. This turns out to be a good choice. It arrives in flat-pack, with 5 pieces that bolt together with 10 little plastic bolts. The lid hinges on top, although I've removed this. There are no instructions, so I would advise to mock build it first to see how it goes together. All 6 pieces are covered on both sides by a protective opaque film layer that you need to remove. This is quite difficult. I found repeatedly and aggressively drag your thumb at a 45 degree angle on a corner can just get enough purchase to then get a fingernail under. If one corner doesn't work, try another. It took a good 10 minutes to remove them all.The bolts can be screwed together with phillips style screwdriver, but GENTLY, just firm enough to tighten as they are plastic. The suction cup seems fine to me, but I have also used a small clamp to grasp it to side of rimless tank to be sure. This required the removal of the lid.The shrimp can't get out of the tiny holes which is great. But I am seeing that perhaps water flow isn't getting into the cube too well, so may move it to where there is a bit more current. There are holes in the base. I wanted to put some fine sand, but had to put some flat gravel in first to cover the holes. Seems to work.Overall, happy with the box. Its not too big and nice and clear. Will see what algae is like though.

It's not transparent
I would have liked for it to be transparent as advertised but apart from that it's fine. At first I did have some trouble getting the suction cup to work but I did find a get-around for this.

Does not stick
I got this box and after assembly thought it looked good and was excited to use it. I initially tried it but after having some issues with it not staying stuck for more than a few minutes put it away. I have gone to try a few more times since and have now lost all hope and am buying a different box as this only stays for a couple minutes or so then comes falling down to the bottom of the tank making it completely useless. Shame

Suction it doesn't
Love the design, fits well in my small tank. Screws are a little fiddly but I was able to get it all together easily enough, just took longer. The suction cup is shocking though, fell off my tank 4 times. I've had to put some petroleum jelly on it to see if it helps & had to move it out of the immediate filter flow .... I have fry in it & am trying to keep them safe - I don't have the luxury of getting a separate tank for them right now. I worry that it will fall when I'm not there to save the fry.Wish I'd listened to the other reviews about the suction cup but I needed a small breeders box and this was the best one size wise for my tank.

Just what I wanted
There’s a lot of reviews on here about this product not being up to standard. The key negative from people is that the product is not clear but is opaque. This is just the protective plastic that the acrylic is covered in and very easily peels off.Suction cup seems to be fine if you give it enough pressure when you apply it to the glass but time will tell.Assembly is very easy, just a bit fiddly trying to remove the protective plastic. I’d also recommend using elastic bands to hold the box together while you add the nuts and screws. All in good value for money in my opinion.

Fell off within one day
Was a bit confusing to assemble at first but quickly worked it out. Sadly it fell off within one day. Luckily the eggs I had put in it were going over and so would have been fished out shortly anyway.

Pretty good
The media could not be loaded. Product doesn’t have any instructions to build but easy enough to assemble, the screws are a bit fiddly.

Design could be better
The media could not be loaded. I’m breeding tiny fish frys (CPDs) and was looking for a breeder box with tiny enough holes. I didn’t want a mesh box because I want to be able to see the frys clearly. I wish one of the panels didn’t have holes at all for clear viewing. I also read that the suction is not great and when I tried it, a bit flimsy so I added a metal wire to stabilise. Peeling off the translucent film was the most tedious and annoying. For this price, I feel like it should come assembled. The holes are not small enough for my 3 week old frys and I made a mistake of just installing and dumping my whole lot with confidence into the box just to see my smaller ones filter through into my main breeding tank in horror. Luckily the adults were retreated to the rear of the tank from all my commotion and I was able to save them and put them back into my separate plastic cup. So this is definitely not for tiny frys. The video shows the 6 larger ones able to use the box at the moment while the rest catches up the next few weeks.
