Q: I have 2 card rfid scanners attached to one computer and need to tell which card scanner is sending the characters. Can you send link to config utili?

I don't think you can configure the scanner to send a prefix or suffix to identify which reader/scanner is sending the data. If you are on linux you can modify the usbhid utility to give you usb channel information.

Q: How is the 8d value calculated from the uid?

via the format of reader controller or software

Q: Is there linux drivers for this device to act as a serial port? i don't want it to act as a hid keyboard

i have it working in that manner on a raspberry pi
