Great Third Party Battery Replacement
This is my second purchase of a Wasabi Power Battery Pack, I had bought one for my personal camera (a Sony Cybershot DSC-WX50) and was impressed with the quality of the batteries for the price. Therefore when my sister needed a replacement battery for her Sony Cybershot DSC-W55 which uses Sony G Type NP-GB1 batteries I thought of Wasabi Power first. These batteries operate just as well, if not better than their OEM counterpart, and at this price its an incredible steal. They even include a slick plastic protection case for the batteries to be stored in when not in use. The charger is also pretty slick, the included car charger is a nice touch, although I haven't seen the need to use it. As other reviewers have mentioned on here make sure that you put the battery in backwards! Another user has already uploaded a video that shows the correct way to insert the battery. A lot of the negative reviews seem to miss this fact, and my sister has had no issues with the batteries since their purchase.

Works OK - Sony DSC-HX9V
The wall charger is a little touchy after 9 months, but it works; the red charge light position has sometimes been difficult to get the battery to stay in lately (Maybe a paper shim will work), it wants to show the green "charged" light as soon as you put a low battery in. My batteries are not the backwards position to charge that others are needing to do (even manufacturer was surprised about this). The batteries seem to have a dent in them (under the label), this appears to be a normal crimp to hold things together; I called the manufacturer (english speaking and very willing to help and discuss problem) and looked under the label where it looked odd but thats how it goes together. I have not used the car charger because I have a Sony Car charger that came with the camera. Label says "Premium Cells from Japan" on front and "Made in China" on back - Sony battery is also Chinese made. The Wasabi batteries (BTR-NPBG1-J) claim a little more power than the Stock Sony - 3.7V vs 3.6V and 1250 mAH vs 910 mAH. Batteries fit the camera fine and work just as good as the Sony battery (as far as I can tell).

Docking to 4 stars due to minor usability workaround I have to do
I bought the battery / charger kit so I would have backups for Sony DSC-HX30V camera. The batteries and charge work great. Frankly I can't tell any performance difference between the factory (Sony supplied) battery and these. I'm pretty sure that the cost of one "official" Sony battery would equal the cost of this package so, in that respect, this is a very good value. Highly recommended. REVIEW REVISED 9/01/13 Dropping this to 4 stars from 5 due to an annoyance. As another reviewer here has noted, this charger design has one usability quirk that might at first lead you to think it is broken. WARNING >> If you want success: You may need to insert the batteries physically "flipped" over in this charger --- yet still oriented so that the brass tangs on the battery make contact with the pins in the charging bay --- if you want the battery to actually accept a charge. This is actually do-able and quite simple once understood - but if you don't know about doing this, you may think the charger is broken. I don't recall receiving any instructions or pictograph hint telling in detail about battery insertion. I believe this issue happens due to some kind of minor design tolerance issue involving a moulded ridge & indent visible inside the battery chamber. I.e. it's a problem with how well the battery reliably seats when you attempt to charge it with the battery inserted "normally" (I.e. logo graphic visibly facing you). What I call the back of the battery is the part with all the fine print about disposal hazards or FCC rating, etc. To restate: I have had to insert battery with the fine print facing me to get things to work. YMMV - test it? Other than this usability quirk - which you can work around once you know it, this combo set is a fair value. The batteries have worked fine and it charges just fine. Final advice: If battery doesn't seem to charge with the graphic & rounded edges facing you, flip it over so the fine print and square edges faces you -- just make sure that whichever method you use the battery "tangs" (contact plates) are in contact with the retractable silver colored pins in the charger.

Versatile set at a reasonable price
I was looking a spare battery for my Sony HX9V and I was very confused with wide range of battery alternatives. I especially thrilled by cheap-and-useless Chinese products. After reading reviews about Wasabi products on Amazon I decided to go with this set. I am using it for a couple of weeks. Although it is "Made in China" too, Wasabi is a Japan company (this is what I trusted!) My camera has built-in charger. That means it is not possible to use it when charging. Therefore this kind of product was a must for me. OK, let's accept nothing compares the original. But I think material quality is quite acceptable. The components are versatile and useful. To be honest, in terms of battery life it is early to speak. I should use it several times before making a judge but first impressions are OK. For the moment I am very satisfied with this set. UPDATE: I was in a holiday and I used the complete set (including car charger & converter) now I feel more comfortable to advice this set. I bought my Sony HX9V camera from BestBuy (since Amazon was out of stock) 1 month ago and the original Sony battery supplied with the camera is NOT InfoLithium (it does not show the remaining power in minutes). However these Wasabi batteries are. Their running performance is also as good as the original one. Battery charges about 2 hours in charger. Last word: Buy this set and never run out of charge!

Beschreibung der Ladefunktion fehlt. Das Einsetzen des Akkus in das Ladegerät würde rein logisch anders herum erfolgen. Nach Korrektur einwandfreie Funktion.

Crap product. Stopped charging after one charge and discharge cycle. Its dead batteries in 2 weeks and the seller shamelessly explains me the return policy of 10 days. AMAZON LOOSING VALUE BY LISTING SUCH SELLER AND NOT RESOLVING QUALITY ISSUE OF SOLD PRODUCT.

Seems to work well and holds it charge OK. Charger is a bit cheaply made so I am still using the Sony original to charge the battery.

ich bin leider sehr enttäuscht worden. Nach einmaliger Benutzung ließen sich die Akkus nicht mehr laden. Weder in diesem noch in einem anderen Gerät! Vielleicht hatte ich aber auch einfach nur Pech...
