Ok tech folks I just want to store documents on this drive from my laptop to save as a back up. That’s all I want will it do that ok?

Yes. It works like other USB 3.0 drives. Product moves data on USB 3.0 up to 130 MB sec. I have a pair of 128 GB units. Works as expected. Has RED LED in both ends that indicates connection and also data transfer. Can be formatted either exFAT 32 or NTFS (for older systems) Recommended product.

Can someone send step by step directions? I have an android phone and it works but I cannot get my pictures to load onto to it to transfer. :(
