Just got this and used it to cook 20+ “Personal pizzas” over two sessions. Really a lot of fun for family and entertaining where people can make individual, choose-your-own-toppings pizzas. It really does cook a pizza in about a minute! Also cooked some vegetables that turned out great (garlic scapes were gooood!). Can’t speak to the durability, haven’t had it long enough although it looks fine if you don’t abuse it. The folding legs don’t lock (“click”) in place which is not a problem in general, but something to be very aware of if you want to reposition it by sliding it when it is hot. Good opportunity for a product improvement, but should not factor into your decision to buy. Seems very expensive to me. It doesn’t look like it would be terribly expensive to manufacture, but I’m no authority. It does make a great Neapolitan pizza. We are looking forward to experimenting with other various pizza, doughs, and other things that can be cooked at very high temps. One bummer - I ordered this on Amazon at full-price so I could get it delivered quickly for a specific event (less than 48 hours!) and then noticed it was 20% off on the Ooni website for Memorial Day weekend. Too bad for me. We have been looking at these ovens for a while but made the final decision impulsively for our event. I recommend you wait for the sale. I would still have paid full price, but 20% is a pretty good discount when buying the oven and accessories. Another observation, i was on and off about getting the multi-fuel version or just the gas version. I settled on the gas only assuming convenience of use would make it more likely that I will use it a lot, it is cheaper than the multi fuel, and this gas version has a “L-Shaped burner” that was highly rated in some reviews I read - the mutlifuel has a different, rear only burner. Don’t know that this makes a significant different. My choice was affirmed when I was busy enough cooking 14 pizzas and did not have to also tend a fire and have a stock off small hardwood on hand.

It takes a little getting used to with straps dangling around and that it fits only one way, which isn’t clear from the use instructions, but once mastered (which only takes a couple of times) it fits the Ooni like a glove. I keep mine generally inside but it’s done the job of keeping the Ooni clean and dry when required. It’s very sturdy and well made. To ensure the main bag goes on the oven correctly, when looking towards the Ooni with the oven door in front of you, the “Ooni” printed on the bag should face towards the right. This allows the door handle to fit into it’s designed pocket, which is the first thing to do when putting the bag on.

I generally store my oven in the garage so this would not be used by me much as intended. The design fits the oven (like a glove) and the materials are high quality - cover, straps, buckles. I’m happy to have it if I need it. I’d use it if I had to store oven outside. (ooni now has some covers that go over the oven and the table. I think you would remove the chimney. That is probably the best solution if you are keeping your oven outside.) I recently had the opportunity to pack up the oven and transport it, and this gives peace of mind that the oven is protected. And it packs everything together in a tight, transportable fashion. Worth considering - confidently recommended.

We love this pizza oven! We have cooked countless pizzas and a few delicious steaks in it…works great, is easy to use and clean. We definitely recommend it.
