11+ Vocabulary Flashcards - Ages 10-11

These are great vocabulary cards for my 9 year old. They tell you the definition & synonyms & antonyms. Beats the workbooks. Flashcards are so much better for vocabulary. Love them!

My son will be sitting for 11+ exams this year. I bought this flashcards so that he can practice and improve his vocabulary skills. At the front of the card, there will be a word. At the back of the card there will be a short definition, example of the word use in sentence, synonyms as well as antonyms. My son finds some of the words are easy, and some are difficult. I think they are a good mixture level of diffculty for a child to practice for exams or just to improve word skills. These flashcards are brilliant. The cards comes in a box where you can keep them save and tidy after using them. They are just the right size and easy to carry around. Definitely worth buying.

Good set of vocabulary for children to learn from. Depends on the learning style but have proven to be very effective!

Really nice quality. Challenging words for young students. They are excited to learn "big words". Cards have the definition, example sentence, and synonyms/antonyms. These were the only vocabulary cards I found with all of the information I wanted at a challenging level.

These cards are nearly awesome. I like the word choices, definitions and usage in sentences. What I wasn't prepared for was how small the cards and the print are. But other than that, these are great and it's a very extensive collection of words. They are used in my 7th & 8th grade reading intervention classes. They are too hard for all but my most advanced readers.
