Use with Scribzee app
I have to admit when I ordered these I thought they were normal notebooks, so I was pleasantly suprised when I realised they are much better.Firstly - this is a pack of 3 A4 sized pads. They come wrapped in cellophane, which seems a bit over the top - in the days where we are trying to actively cut down on plastic wrap, a paper loop to hold them together would have been adequate.Quality: The paper is white, thick and smooth - and good to write on. Your hand slides easily across the page as you write. You don't realise the difference this makes until you try a normal notebook with rough paper! Because it's thicker paper you can use both sides of the paper to write on.There are 4 punched holes on the left hand side so they will fit all binders.Onto their additional function. They work with the Scribzee app. How? Each page has a marker in each corner, so you take a scan of the page by lining it up with the markers to take a perfect scan. That page of notes in now saved in the app - or you can share to Evernote. As an Evernote user, this is great for me. If you just want to use the app you can organise the notes in the app to make them easier to find, can make folders to put them in. You can even search your handwritten notes - it analyses your writing to present you with the results. That's amazing! You can also view your notes online using the Scribzee website.I've studied psychology and how we learn, and it appears that we learn more if we write notes rather than type them. Maybe it's because it is a more interactive process, maybe it's because you write slower, the movements your hand makes while forming the letters....researchers don't know why, but if you want to learn, it is better to write rather than type.So I am excited to be using these notebooks. I think at the current price of less than £10 for three, it's a reasonable price - for the notebooks, and the use of the app, which is free.I've given it 5 stars because I am very impressed with these notebooks and the app.I hope you found my review helpful.

Decent notebooks
Decent notebooks with good quality paper. It's important to note that the sheets are attached at the top rather than the left hand edge, which basically forces you to tear a page off to write on the reverse; essentially then, these are pads for notes which you either throw away, or else if you need to retain them, put in a ring binder to keep together, the margins having four holes for this purpose, or in a document folder. Personally I have a preference for pads with page attached on the left hand edge and keeping the pad intact rather than ripping pages out.The pages also have guides in the corners for scanning with free apps called Scribzee and Evernote. I downloaded both of these to my phone but both require creating an account to be able to use them; it seems you can't do anything on a phone these days without your data being tracked by all and sundry. No thanks. So I'm not going to test and verify the scanning for this review. Sorry.

Top quality paper
You get three pads of punched paper, which you can scan after you have written on the sheets to an app called Scribzee, or scan up to an app called Evernote, which I already use, so that’s handy.I’m in the process of itemising a relatives train collection, so writing the information onto the pads and then scanning to an app, with be very handy, so that I can then pass the information on to respective buyers via email. The paper is thick, lined with a margin, and a good weight, with scanner guides in each corner, so you can line your device up easier. There is no bleeding on the paper with fountain pen ink or rollerball, and ball point glides across the paper. The paper is punched with four holes for easy filing in all ring binders and lever files.Top quality paper 📝 and enough to last years.

More than just A4 lined paper
Firstly this pack of three A4 lined pads has one of each colour cover. The quality of the paper is very good, smooth and of a nice thickness, better than the usual WHSmiths paper I normally use.The thing I haven't come across before is the page having four marked corners in order to line up your phone/tablet camera to scan your notes. There is information on the inside cover for the app Scribzee. While I probably won't ever use this function myself I think this would be useful for students or anyone wanting to save notes or even shopping lists onto your phone or tablet. However, as handy and clever as all that seems, the current price of £9.36 is a bit steep for three 140page pads. In comparison the WHSmiths usual brand I purchase, which is more than adequate, has 200 pages per pad and the last time I bought any I got three pads for £5. So, for the quality paper here etc, I think something nearer £7 would be more like it.

Overpriced but good quality note pads
With my daughter preparing for high school for next year I started gather some notebooks, notepads and all sort of stationary products which will be useful from that time. These 3 note pads came wrapped in soft of clingfilm wrap and are in very good condition. Each note pad has different colour cover and papers are lined and punched. Each page can be scanned (photo taken) and saved in phone app, but I dont think this option will be ever used, but who knows.. teenagers will try to impress one another with technology tricks so I wouldn't be surprised though if the app will be actually in use.Papers are in good quality, thick enough and have smooth feel to it.I think these note pads are to expensive for what they are.. I would rather buy cheaper papers elsewhere..
