Sunnydaze Rolling Garden Cart with Steering Handle Swivel Seat & Basket - Blue

I had knee surgery and I won't be able to get on my knees for awhile. Kind of a bummer when you love to dig in the dirt of your garden. Thought I'd try a cart so I could still enjoy the season. This thing is cool! The tractor seat is a bit unforgiving but you just have to get the idea of straddling the seat out of your head and work with it instead of against it. The seat raises and lowers easily which is helpful. The instructions are a bit lacking. Its not hard to put together but you need to rely on the diagram. You must must must use ratchets to tighten things up otherwise you'll end up cursing like a drunken sailor! The only pain lies in attaching the back side of the tray. Pay attention to how it sits near the wheels. It wants to almost sit on them but you can easily adjust. Its not light. Its definitely solid. The pull handle is a great thing! Makes it easy to maneuver. All in all a super, albeit heavy, cart! I love using it!

The garden seat is so comfortable to use, the adjustable height is perfect for trimming plants. The material is very sturdy and the adjustable height for the handle is perfect for the short and the tall members in our family. I love that it comes with 2 baskets. I use the bottom basket for my tools and the round back basket holds a bucket perfectly for weeding. We were missing a few parts, I called customer service and they immediately sent the parts to my home.

I love this cart. If I take care of this the metal structure and tires are going to last a LONG time! They are well made. Bolts and welds seem very high quality. Powder coating seems like it was done with enough care to be meant to last. Tires are heavy duty and seem to be good quality. Unfortunately, I have very little faith that any of the accessories (tool tray, handle, basket) will last, even if I’m careful. I think the thing I’m most disappointed in is the handle! I shouldn’t have paid the extra money for this handle as it is SUPER light duty aluminum with very cheap plastic and riveting that doesn’t seem like it will last long at all. I would NOT pay for the handle, rather a tug rope would have been much more useful but I don’t want to return the entire cart just to return the handle. I’ve already been using it in my garden and have just loved the cart! I do like the bucket holder on back. It’s designed to be easily removable, but it seems to be TOOO easily removable. I wish they’d done something to secure it a little bit better as when I go to dump my bucket of weeds the basket wants to come with the bucket and I have to readjust often. High quality cart, but very mediocre accessories :(

It was very easy to put together and is very sturdy. It rolls nicely in my garden. Very happy.

This little garden seat is absolutely the best thing ever! I can work in the yard for hours now without my back hurting from bending over. I also have a root tear in my right knee meniscus which would limit me from gardening but this seat lets me plant without pressure on my knees. Even though the seat is metal, I have not found it to be uncomfortable at all. Every year I plant at least 60 to 80 geraniums alone just on my desks. I am so glad I discovered this handy garden seat and wish I’d thought to look for it 10 years ago! The only negative were the assembly instructions which were not very helpful and even misguiding. My husband who is a contractor found the directions quite challenging. The bolts listed were not what came with it, the sizes were off and if he had not had things in his toolbox to substitute he would not have been able to assemble it at all. Thus could be a real problem for someone without his skill set! Other than that, I highly recommend this item but maybe if it comes preassembled order it that way.

After much research, I purchased this "top rated" cart for my wife who loves gardening but has mobility issues. Of note: if you buy it, plan on keeping it. You'll never get it packed in the box the way it came. Everything was jammed in the box and crammed together. The instructions aren't clear or complete. They say that you need a Socket wrench, Adjustable wrench and a Phillips screwdriver to assemble the cart. What they should have said is that you need a Metric socket (though a 3/4 socket does work to tighten the wheels) and a number 3 (5mm) Phillips screwdriver to tighten the seat. You could probably assemble this with two adjustable wrenches but it would be more difficult. I laid out, but didn't examine, all of the parts. I was missing the M8x30mm Hex Bolt which connects the steering. I could have called Sunnydaze and had them ship me one, but why wait a week when I had one from HD in 30 minutes. Step 1 says to mount the narrow end of the tray to the front of the frame but the photo depicting that step shows the narrow end facing the back of the frame. Step 3 says to tighten the tray hardware to the front of the frame and that the back of the tray will be tightened later. Small problem. Nowhere in the instructions do they tell you when to tighten the back of the tray. I did it as my last step. Three quality issues. The 8x30mm bolt used to connect the steering goes into a hole much larger than the bolt which allows play in the steering linkage. A larger bolt or a bushing should have been used. The wire basket that I received that attaches to the rear of the cart had a severely bent (crushed?) prong. I was able to re-bend it into a shape that would allow the basket to attach. It's steel. Without the correct tools and/or strength, you may not be able to do this if yours is bent. Of greater concern is that the right front axle and wheel have significant play. I believe that the axle may milled the wrong size. I swapped tires and they all wobbled on this axle. All the other wheels fit as they should. It's sloppy, and the wheel wiggles, but I don't think that it's a safety issue. I called Sunnydaze to inform them of my disappointment and to offer, what I hoped would be, a constructive critique hoping that they may find it helpful. After first "scolding" me on the phone for not calling them first about the problem(s), to their credit, they issued me a full refund and told me to keep the cart, give it away or throw it away. I explained to them that I couldn't have called them first about the wheel or basket issues and they weren't apparent to me until I did the assembly step indicated. It's functional and I'm keeping it, but I'm disappointed in the scolding I received from customer service, the quality control and assembly instruction issues.
