The gel is hard and was not very comfortable to me. It does do the job I needs to do. Easy to take with you and to use.

Had this cushion for about 4 days now. It doesn’t seem to be doing anything special. Though, in defense of the cushion, I may be doing something wrong. I will still keep sitting on it, regardless. I do like the fact it is slim-lined. I had another that was hard and made me feel like I was in a booster chair…it was toooooo high

I have bad back & trying physical therapy so i don't have to have surgery. I am forced to sit or lay 50% of the day because it hurts lower back to walk. Sitting causes tailbone to ache. Bought this thinking it would help. It made it worse because its not designed to ease pressure on tail bone - it needs a small section at back to be cut out so tailbone doesn't rest on it. I sent it back. Thank goodness Amazon allows returns.

Box arrived unsealed with no paperwork inside. I don't know which side of the cushion my 96 year old husband should sit on. This was purchased for pressure sores but the hole looks very small. I'm not sure how it will work for him.
