a useful little gadget to improve grip strength
My grip has decreased in strength as a natural consequence of getting older, causing me some difficulties in everyday tasks and in playing bowls (my hobby). I saw this advertised, bought it and it arrived within 2 days. I found it very easy to use and it improved my grip almost instantly, as it exercises the muscles in the hand, fingers and thumb. I found it very easy to sit and watch tv whilst doing repetitions on each hand. It's very easy to alter the tension to increase the effort required to use it as this is a simple screw wheel to increase or decrease it. It is comfortable to use as the handle has a soft rubberised finish instead of being plain metal or plastic. It seems very sturdy so presumably will last for years. It has improved my grip strength almost overnight, enabling me to play my sport without dropping the bowls accidentally. Well worth the cost of only £5.99.

Great little strengtheners.
I bought the hand grip to go with one I already own, seeing as how it was relatively cheap at the time (a couple years ago). The quality is mid range. It feels quite cheap, with flimsy plastic handles. However that doesn't stop it from being functional whatsoever. Easy to adjust, and easy to use. I bought it to improve my grip strength and it did just that. Use it morning and night, with a warm up before hand. It doesn't take long to see improvement in grip strength at all with these. I'd recommend to anyone looking for a simple and effective way to get that strong handshake grip we all want. Cj

Worked well for my rehab
Big accident, multiple fractures, hand particularly badly broke. Couldn't use item until a year later, just no strength in hand until recovery well under way. Rubber balls & putty to get me to the point I could use it. But once I could though painful, improvements came. Got from 20% up to 50%+ within a few months. Sadly too much damage to hand to fully recover, but thanks to this I got as much strength back as possible. Which made the hand much more usable . Happy buyer.

Very good, I just wish they were slightly larger
I have massive banana hands and I wish these were just a tiny bit bigger. My little finger ("pinkie") hangs off the bottom of the handle in use. That said, still five stars, because these are undeniably great value and this issue won't affect 95% of people. I haven't found any other brands that do fit my ginormous sausage fingers either. Can still recommend, they're sturdy, easy to adjust, ergonomic, no sharp edges.. and for a very keen price.

Great for improving hand strength
I find that this hand strengthener works well, I have had no issues with it. It is comfortable to hold and I really like that the tension can be adjusted so that it is easy to progress your hand strength. The colour is nice it also looks nice. The only two things I would like to point out are that it can take a little while to get used to if you have small hands like I do. Also the markings on the tension wheel are not very easy to see. But if I hold the hand grip vertically with the tension wheel facing me , turning the wheel clockwise then this increases the tension and anticlockwise then decreases the tension. Generally I would recommend this product

Good range for beginners, feels awkward, spring makes noise
The first things you'll notice are: It's mostly plastic The hinges are tiny rods The grips are curved Adjustable difficulty - 5-60kg The sprint attached to the plastic by hooks Both the hinges and the plastic tell me that this probably isn't built to last, not that I would necessarily need it to. The knob you turn to adjust the difficulty feels loose and flimsy. I'm certain that something will snap with continued use. The curved grip just feels uncomfortable and forces my hand into a weird angle no matter how many different ways I try to grip it. The seam from the plastic mold also happens to form a sharp little ridge right where the fingers lie, though I'm not sure whether this is any rougher than the textured metal you find on weight training bars and the COC grips. The only positive thing I can say about the grips is that the difficulty mechanic does seem to work pretty well. It takes quite a few turns to get it from one end to the other, but by the time I'd get closer to the upper end I'd start training with COC grips anyways. At least from this I can gather that I'm not too far gone and should be able to handle the 60lb grip when it comes in. The most annoying thing for me right now is the sound the spring occasionally makes. A tedious "clink" sound that sometimes happens that I'd guess comes from the hooks shifting. It might not make a difference to some people. I'll probably keep it, but I don't find it overly amazing.

Get A Grip !
I am being told by friends and family to "Get A Grip". So I amazoned this bad boy to hopefully solve the problem. A chap has to do something after two years of lock down !! Anyway , its pretty good value , quality seems OK and easy to adjust the tension. I don't have particularly big hands but it could be a touch bigger for perfect comfort. My grip has improved no end , I can even keep hold of my wallet when my teenage daughter trys to lighten it against my will. Happy Days - I'm off for a quick squeeze ( if you get my drift ! ).

I have issues with arthritis and tendons in my hands. Years of turning wrenches has taken its toll. Doctors recommended surgery. I tried this product for about 5 minutes alternating from left to right hand on lowest setting and immediately felt results. My fingers loosens up significantly. Hopefully it will help with wrist and forearm pain after some regular use. Seems to be of fair quality for the price. Even if it only holds up for a month or two, the price is worth that. Easily adjustable tension and fits the hand comfortably. Allows the flexibility to use in different positions in your palm and fingers. Definitely recommend if you have pain issues with your hands.

Absolute Schweinerei!
