For a clean looking Rack!!!
I installed a small rack in my Closet. Using a couple 24 port Keystone Patch Panels I also got from Amazon. "Cable Matters Rack or Wall Mount 24-Port Cat6, Cat 6 Keystone Patch Panel (Blank Patch Panel)"So I can install Keystones on my Ethernet cables and then pop them into some of the spaces in the patch panel, and on some other spots, I can use these. What this does is all things like say my NAS and cable modem that sit on the top of my rack on a rack-mounted shelf, allow me to run the ethernet cable that is plugged into those to behind and down the inside of the rack to plug into one of these on the backside. So that the cable is HIDDEN!!!Hidden, why? So it looks nice without having these ethernet cables dangling all over the place. Inside they are hidden inside the rack. Any place I didn't use on my patch panel I plugged the hole with a blank. You can get those from Amazon also.I have my Patch Panel all labeled so I know what port is what. Then using a bunch of short Premade cables which are pretty low cost. I can then cleanly run from the patch panel to my 48 port Switch. Instead of modem and a cable around the side to the front port of my switch. That would look like crap. I wanted my rack to look professional and it does!!! It looks clean. It's labeled, and so it looks like someone cared, which is ME!!!Using a Keystone Patch Panel is nice. You can install keystones on all your cables FIRST, and then snap them into the Patch panel in whatever order you want!!! You can use different colors for say different rooms. You can use different types of Keystones. For example these passthrough type keystones, or blank Keystones to audio or HDMI, or whatever your needs are. Lots of flexibility. If a port goes BAD, you can always just replace the keystone with a new one. Not just stop using the port or replacing the whole patch panel and reconnected all those cables up to the new one. So these things a great to have a clean looking rack. You can't tell if it's a normal Keystone or one of these Passthouh Keystones from looking at the front of the patch panel.I'm using 4-5 of these in my rack. I've had ZERO issues with them.

Need me some SPEED!!
WiFi is nice, but there's nothing quite as fast as a wired connection. I love being able to use the full capacity of my gigabit Internet, even upstairs. So, as you can see by my pic, I connected some cables run from another area to my machine... and I clearly did NOT shell out for RJ45-EZ heads, because that cable jacket ain't nowhere NEAR the head...What you can't see is that it goes through 2 windows and around 3 rooms, but maybe it's for the best that you don't see that hackmess.Either way, needed to wire some Ethernet, and these helped keep things simple and on the cheap.

make patch panels a breeze
Well built and just the right size to fit in the Cable Matters 24 port rack mount keystone patch panel. Made rack installation an easy job, no punch downs and difficulty tracing leads. If your time is worth anything this really helps to make your install trouble free.

Snaps into place just fine, then when connecting from the back
Snaps into place just fine, then when connecting from the back, it pushes out through the front somewhat (1/8" or so). Does not fall out, just loose.

Work as expected
Needed less than 10 but they come in handy. Gave some away to coworkers. Always helps to have a coupler when doing network work.

Crimped RJ45 plugs don't fit
Great product at a great price!UPDATE: So I noticed after loading the patch panel with these couplers that although premade, manufactured patch cables fit inside these and lock into place without issue, HOWEVER after crimping cat6 and/or cat5e RJ45 plugs to cat6 cable I noticed they fall out of these couplers. So after several tries of recrimping and using different cables and plugs, I have come to the conclusion that these couplers are too tight a fit for crimped plugs. The manufacture should test making some custom cables with their own cat6 cable and crimpers and see what I've found. I lost a lot of time and money replacing all of these with Leviton branded parts because my client was very unhappy.

These break easily
These pass thru keystone connectors are fragile. They break easily and do not engage properly. I ended up inserting it into my wall plate backwards and using a friction fit. It’s not the best but it will get the job done for now.
