Belas ilustrações e histórias bem contadas
Excelente livro.

Marginally decent read
The author tried to write about some of the blacksmith's history, but the book lavks depth and too many of the labels for the pictures or drawings are mislabeled (eg; calling a post vise a box vise). This will likely go to the iron-in-the-hat come next years meet as it doesn't belong in my library on metal working.

Lots of Good Information
I am always fascinated craftsman of the past. This book recounts the tools and techniques that blacksmiths and farriers used to make a living. Included a costs materials and what they would charge customers. What really caught my attention and the biggest reason to buy this book was the detailed information on how to build a leather lung bellows and brick forge.

THE BLACKSMITH: IRONWORKER AND FARRIER
I have very few blacksmithing skills. I make the rings to go around my wooden barrels and buckets and have made a few very simple tools; froe, adze, S hooks and a poor excuse for an axe. This book is the most helpful book for a novice like me to learn new skills and make more things. I love it.
